You must connect a digital TV box between your arial and your Liteon, so the arial cable goes into the digital box, and use a SCART cable from the digital box to the Liteon. Then record using the SCART input on the Liteon. Another SCART cable can be connected from the Liteon to your TV, so you can view what you have recorded.

A cd broke inside my dvd writer while using it, and now it wont eject
on the left side of the front pannel just under the drawer you will see a pinhole.turn your cd unit upside down and insert a straightened paperclip in the hole keeping it straight as possible,the drawer should open enough to allow you to grip it .
if no luck you will have to remove the case top and manually remove the disc..

Software problem
Nero needs to be uninstalled (using Nero Clean Tool) and then reinstalled after you have added a new lightscribe DVD drive. To correctly uninstall Nero go to Nero website to download Clean Tool application specific to your version of Nero.

Lite On LVW 5005 tray will not open
Drives stick from time to time. Get a Paper Clip and straiten one end out. Look for the small hole on the front panel. Stick the clip end into the hole and push. The tray should open. Grab the tray and move it rapidly in and out seven or more times. This may stop the tray from sticking, and if not you know how to open it manually.
