most of the AC adapter for the monitor have practically the same color and design. You may get that to your store where you bought or you may try best buy and ask for Liquid Video Monitor Power Cord for it...

hi matai, sounds like the monitor may have physical problem with it, which is not practical to fix. To have a definite answer, switch do a different monitor if line is gone then you have your answer. However if the line shows up on a different monitor this is an issue with the graphics on the pc and will need to be replaced.

what if you leave the screen on does the message disappear or does it only happen when you turn the screen off?

The monitor will take any standard monitor cable, ebay/amazon and type monitor cable

check for loose connection of the video cable connection on the system unit (CPU). blinking may indicate that there is no signal transferred from the cpu to the monitor!

There's a good chance you have failing electrolytic capacitors either in the power section or the inverter section or both.
Any caps in these sections that look bulged at the top, or bulged/leaking at the bottom need to be replaced.
If you repeatedly turn it off and on, eventually it'll probably stay on, but every time you turn it off, the TV will get harder and harder to start up until one day it just won't.
Sometimes you have to do the opposite to start it up and unplug it for some time and then try again.

If you are handy with a soldering iron and can identify the power supply and inverter / FM section for the backlights, an inexpensive handful of capacitors will likely fix you right up.
Match the capacitance on the capacitors. Go over voltage if you can, and still have them fit.
IE - it's not a bad idea to replace a 10V cap with a 16V or 25V or even a 50V, but don't replace a 680uF cap with a 500uF or a 1000uF (unless you are positive it's only doing ripple filtering, and even then, you should go OVER, not under the uF rating).

Most of the caps that go are 10V 1000uF or 3300uF.

So your problem will most likely be due to a loose connection, fried mainboard or CPU.

Allow it to search for a driver, it should install a generic driver. LCD's do not require special drivers

i faced the same problem some time ago.. i updated graphics drivers and mother board drivers but then that didn't help then i came to know that problem was with the dust that was on the PCI interface.... i cleared it n since then i didn't have any such problem!

Menu - Settings - Broadcast - in there you can opt between 2 radio channels, select the other one. But beware, they are very close, if you still have problems picking it up then something is wrong in the player - it's defective.

You should try this monitor with another PC first, but I am suspecting to be power supply problem due to bad DC filters caps (bad caps with dome tops).

This monitor does not have a standard 3.5mm jack to plug in headphones/earphones. Considering the fact that the sound output is only 2W, you may want to disconnect the speaker connection from the back of the computer and plug in your earphones into that slot.
