gee, most modern cars cut out all things not needed to crank and start an engine, ever start a car at -29deg F? bingo why is that,if the engine is slow to start, it needs all the power it can find in the battery 500CCA? or does crank up means after engine starts, called RUNNING the engine, and or driving. I say the radio was installed fully wrong.. wire it to the cars radio fuse or cars , IGNition SWITCH Acc LUG.. tthere can be 2 power wires, one is memory, pin on radio an goes to fuses HOT all the time the other power wire, to RAD goes to radio fuse or to IGN ACC lug.

How do you know the brake light switch is ok ? Did you check (with a voltmeter) battery voltage at the switch. Inspection and Verification

bad blend or mode damper door motor actuators. is cause (maybe) we know how to move them by hand motors off (actuators) hot all the time is blend unless AC compressor is dead. yes blend doors can jam fully to hot, sure can., It needs service, there are other causes. most of the tests you can not do. or easy. there are 2 systems here.

• the AC R134 loop dead or weak.

what I do is make sure the compressor runs and if does, move the blend door by hand (my jeep has built in self test of this) and by hand I put the damper to evap core only mode and if no cold air now, the loop is bad and I stop here, lots more tests from hear. or he AC condensate drain is clogged even covering up deeply evap core . blocking is air flow., and super common this and a simple fix.

First thing to do is go to a auto parts store or service station and have them ck the battery condition. There are other things but I'd start here. Best to you

there was an air pump as i remember that automatically adjusted the level, those systems (usually the shocks) were notorious for going out as they aged the seals went bad. it's an expensive fix ..a lot of people used to change that out for normal springs ans shocks or aftermarket air shocks. if you do that be sure to save the old ones because the car will be antique one day and it will keep a new restorer from locking everywhere for those shocks. BTW i'm almost certain they are "rebuildable if you can take some time with it.. keep in mind this is the worst case.. it could just be a bad pump or a bad wire, or relay or maybe a fuse.. .. just be prepared for it to be the shocks themselves .. good luck with it and don't let it get you down there is no need to make it a bigger deal than it is..

removing the rear seat is very complex. I came across a close situation and I used a magnet on a small post it is called a mechanics magnet putting it down beside the seatback sleeve and move it around try everyway you can to put magnet down into the seat. there is no answer to that (below Deity level grade) to the word SHOULD and the word WILL no year told engine option told and that tells what transmission is behind it The EPA said dont;change AFT the the maker of the tranny said yes at 60kmiles (most do) EPA thinks you will spill it to the ground or a river and the maker does not lie (tranny maker) now I will get my crystal ball out of the safe and look. WILL it help or hinder. well if the old AFT is all GUNKED UP nasty mess flush fill only makes it worse at 185k miles never done before at 60k and 120k. all that gunk breaks up and lands where gunk,dirt and metal does do not belong. the word CHANGING, well a simple drain only gets out 1/2 of it out only a full flush and drain fully and refill works best. Lincoln nav. well is the engine the same size ? it sold new with 1 of 3 engines 4.6 and 5.4, 2v and 4v. 4v is DOHC twincam head so is 3 unique engines there, day 1. new. so of both cars have same engine , and the parts counter told me it is same on 5.4L so did rockauto.com, if still OEM stock that is, some 3rd party sold parts might say different. vast those.

1. connect recovery system and pump out old R134 and save it.
2. remove compressor.
3. make sure old one did that dump debris into the loop seen when any compressor does its train wreck inside. If did all must be cleaned, see huge chapter here. (I pass)
4. new receiver dryer.
5. new compressor.
6. vacuum pump it to max (45min) and do the leak down test
7. if fails that we must find the leak in the loop. (hard work)
8. Ok leak fixed. add PAG oil to compressor it not already pre-primed
9. add R134 per weight. per spec of car, Loop size in car dictates it.
10. test the system.
