No you don't need to pull transmission, you drop the pan off the transmission and the shift solenoids are attached to the valve body. Measure the fluid you take out and put back in the same amount, DONOT OVERFILL THE TRANSMISSION, IT CAN DESTROY IT. Check the fluid level hot.

Your Continental is equipped with a TRANSAXLE, and I can think of four different solenoids, not including the internal shift solenoids, associated with the transaxle. It may be better to describe what your ISSUE is, so that a diagnosis may be suggested for you.

Help trouble locating vapor canister vent valve on 2006 Lincoln Navigator 5.4L

At some point you will have to change the door switch but my work truck is an AWD Lincoln Aviator 04. No vehicle has ever been trashed like I've trashed this truck from slamming doors strapping doors shut hauling what I shouldn't etc etc. WD40 does the trick but is corrosive and doesn't last as long as a better grease like white lightning or PB blaster. It has worked for me Everytime. My truck is all original 311,000 miles every light on but the door ajar light anymore because I used blaster. It's not to hard to bypass it and u can search how to do it easily online but I haven't had to do it because it just sticks sometimes and blaster did the trick. The guy that said buy the part urself...if the cheaper part fails u will pay double labor because u will have to pay to have it removed to take it back and pay to have it reinstalled again ..don't do that. Pay the slightly higher price the shop gives u for a better quality part but also for the warrantied labor that will come with its premature failure if u use a reputable shop.

The problem is more likely in the bcm. Check to see if any rainwater is leaking on the bcm, but the dash lights going out is not consistent with bcm failure. Look for possible wiring issues under the dash--maybe you have rat damage.

Radiator cooling fan is not electric, it is driven by a silly hydraulic pump which is located low on the passenger side of the engine above the alternator. All 2000-2002 LS's have this system. Most likely either the motor or pump has failed.

Some mobile lock smiths carry the right software to do this.

If this is an intermittent issue, start by getting the vehicle scanned for Trouble Codes. This will check to see if it is a sensor on the engine causing the issue. If you have to pay for this service ask at 4 or 5 different places as prices can be very different. Comment below with the codes and I'll try to help you more.

could be a few things fuel pump could be going up, clogged injectors, plugged fuel filter try and run some nectar cleaner threw it may solve it. weak spark [lus can also make it hesitate

sounds ,more like spark knock. could be poor timing ,bad plugs, wires if it has them, possible weak coil packs
