I have checked all connections to my amp

Your amp could be in protection mode! Sometimes turning up to high or wires touching will put in protection mode! It will have to be unplugged for a day or two to drain all power out of the memory. Leave accessorie/ignition wire hooked up, just not power and ground wiring. It should reset itself.

I have a lightning b4.320.4 900w amp and the red

THE GOAL HEAR IS TO DETERMINE IF THE INSTALLATION IS CAUSING YOUR PROTECTION FAULT OR IS IT THE AMPLIFIER ITSELF HAVING INTERNAL DAMAGE. REMOVE THE RCA INPUTS AND DISCONNECT THE SPEAKERS, THEN POWER THE AMPLIFIER UP WITH THIS NO INPUT, NO SPEAKER LOAD CONDITION. IF IT STILL GOES INTO PROTECTION AND YOU HAVE VERIFIED THAT THE POSITIVE AND ESPECIALLY THE GROUND CONNECTIONS, ALONG WITH THE REMOTE CONNECTIONS ARE 100%, THEN THE AMPLIFIER WILL NEED TO BE SERVICED. ANOTHER PROBLEM WHICH IS A LITTLE RARE, IS THAT SOMETIMES THE RADIOS REMOTE OUTPUT WILL SAG BELOW 11 VOLTS AND THE AMPLIFIER WILL NOT TURN ON. IF YOU CANNOT MEASURE THE REMOTE LEADS VOLTAGE, SIMPLY DISCONNECT IT AND TEMPORARILY INSTALL A JUMPER BETWEEN THE POSITIVE TERMINAL AND THE REMOTE TERMINAL OF THE AMPLIFIER AND THIS SHOULD FORCE THE AMPLIFIER ON, BUT IF IT DOES NOT, IT WILL DEFINITELY NEED SERVICE, AS YOU HAVE TOTALLY SIMULATED A BENCHED CONDITION THAT IS TOTALLY INDEPENDENT OF YOUR INSTALLATION. LET ME KNOW IF YOU NEED FURTHER ASSISTANCE.....V

My amp is protected

Hello zurdoelteipe,

Sounds like a faulty speaker or speaker wiring. Or if you have 2 or more of the channels bridged, it's possible the impedance load is too low for the amp to support.

Try disconnecting the output wires one at a time and then power back up.

How do i fixed my over powed Lightning Audio amp,b150.2

Thanks for being honest, that's rare. It would cost more to repair it that get a new one, I'm sure of that. For the price, look for a good used amp on ebay. I am a little older now but used to do competition stuff 10 years ago. I don't need to have something new and shiny out of a box and have just as killer of a system as always but for about 1/4th the price! You can tell by how people describe their equipment wether or not you are dealing with an audiophile or not. If not, stay away!

Stops playing if i turn im up

Disconnect speakers and test. Crank up the volume and see if it still cuts out. Then re connect one speaker at a time and test. if it cuts out, check for a short in a speaker wire or a bad speaker (blown or shorted coil) Hope this helps

My amp wont even turn on or red light or nothing

check ground cable, check fuse on amp, and check the fuse under the hood, on the positive cable should be about 12' from the battery, if all is well and theres no light, check the blue wire coming from your deck use a tester,if bad you can run one of your fuse box ,place a 12volt switch and hook it to the amp you should be good to go

I have no audio gion to subs!!!!

Hello jcrowe8, You do not say what type or how many subs you have connected to the Bolt B2.150.2, but it would be a strain for it to produce adequate power for even 1 sub. The amp has both low/high pass filters as well as a variable crossover, so it's possible that do not have them set for optimum power. To power a sub, the high pass filter should be off, the low pass filter on, and the crossover set to around 80-100Hz. Even then, I would not expect very much bass. 50 watts per channel at 4ohms or 75 watts per channel at 2ohms is barely enough to move the cone of a typical 10" sub. The MTX Thunder 5500 T5510-04 has an RMS power range of from 150-300 watts. Hope this helps.
