Liftmaster Garage door Opener. I need a manual site for a garage door opener with this part # 41a5021-d

Question edited for a lot more clarity. Question moved form Cars and Trucks category. The part number you stated is the logic board on a Liftmaster Garage Door Opener. No, the cable is supposed to spiral wound around that pulley. It is connected to the spring which takes the weight of the door. You need the model number to find the manual. https://www.google.com/search?q=part+%23+41a5021-d ..

Lift-Master 1260, circa 1993. Today it won't open or close.

29 years is along run on an opener. Personally I would replace it and not spend any money trying to repair it. You can try and find a control panel, or buy a new opener for $200.00 at HD. you can leave track in place replace rollers from new opener box.

I have a lift Master Model 2280 garage door

Sounds like loose connections. Unplug, remove the cover and be sure all connections are tight and secure. While doing this be sure there are no burnt connections or burns on the PCB. Replace cover, plug in and it should be OK.

It is probably the lubrication in the rollers. You should lubricate them and make a small adjustment to the torque sensor. When it gets cold the lub gets stiff. The torque sensor will detect this and open the door, a safe position.

Hi there. My coromaster 2000 has

Recategorised from Vacuum cleaners to 'at least' a Garage Door Opener category. This unit is only available in South Africa, and we are a North American website which is probably why help was not forthcoming in 2017.. There is some general help here though for setting travel limits. https://www.google.com/search?q=coromaster+2000+has+lost+its+limits ..

When you say sensors, are you talking about the photo-eye that checks if obstruction is in path of garage door?

1) You can buy sensors for $20-30. They seem generic

2) The new openers may be set up so by-pass is not an option.
Solution: In that case, you can move sensors above the garage door and put them face to face to see if that helps.

3) The way the sensors work is this. One side produces beam of light. Other side receives light. The receiver keeps a circuit closed at all times when light is received. If no light, then the circuit opens up and an electronic part interprets the lack of signal and turns off opener.

Solution: one side produces light. It does not have a switch. The other side has the switch. You can disconnect (or cut) a wire see which side has the light. The other side has the switch ... cut the 2 wires on the side with a switch, cap them off, and then see if opener works. Next twist the 2 wires together and see if opener works.

4) Fall-back position: Mark your wires and you can put it back the way it was.

Try reprograming the opener to each remote, if this doesn't work then the command/radio module in the opener is damaged and needs to be replaced. Hopefully you can find one or you will have to replace the whole garage door opener. Good luck.

Our garage door opener 41a4252

Hello, Jamesgeorge8 - The sensors for the garage door opener may not be properly aligned or there may be dust and or cobwebs blocking the sensors from interacting with each other. The sensor alignment problem was the issue with our garage door opener. My husband tried to "futz with" the sensors with no luck. So, we finally called the garage door repair card (the previous resident of the home left the business card for the garage door repair company slipped behind the power button inside the garage) and he came and fixed the problem (for a price) quickly. You may find information from the San Francisco Examiner (newspaper) helpful. This is the link: http://homeguides.sfgate.com/fixing-sensor-overhead-garage-doors-39383.html This is an instructive video on how to replace garage door sensors I found on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=crTTxmUm6Vo You will see links to similar instructive YouTube videos along the right side bar. Best wishes.
