Although a different machine, the processes are similar. Just be sure to accommodate to your hardware. I will be including a link to your manual also.

If no key is pressed for 15 seconds, and the user stops pedaling, the console shuts down. You can also do the same when starting the machine, just step on the pedals to get them moving and the console should light up.

Possible causes for a dead battery or battery that doesn't hold charge

1. Battery has lost its ability to hold a charge, (dead battery)
2. Charging system on unit has failed (battery cables, alternator, or alternator control board)
3. Stuck key on the display is causing a constant draw from the battery.

We recommend to visually inspect your machine to make sure no wires are damaged or loose also.

If this does not solve your problem or you have further questions please do not hesitate to contact us online or by phone,

Most likely a dead battery, you could also check and make sure that that the sensor for the flywheel is in tact

You'll have to open up the battery assembly compartment on the user lower left side and replace your old batteries.

The LifeCycle GX power requirements are

• Battery: 2 D-Cell batteries
• Approximate Battery life: 800hrs

If this does not solve your issue or you need further assistance please do not hesitate to contact our Technical Support Team online or by phone 888-713-2880 or

You are powering the display while you bike, it has an auto dim feature to conserve electricity for the LED display that displays all your stats like time spent biking, calories burned, etc. There probably really is not a way to keep the light on.
