My life fitness f3 treadmill wont incline anymore
You have to 'RECALIBRATE" the treadmill. This happens to my F3 all the time and it is very frustrating. Evidently there is no "fix" except to "RECALIBRATE.".
Here is how to do it (pay close attention because it gets TRICKY!):
1) Turn "ON" the treadmill;
2) Press the "RESET" button;
3) Here is where it gets tricky:
After you press the "RESET' button "PLEASE WAIT" or "WAIT" comes on;
As soon as the screen goes "BLANK" but before "SELECT PROGRAM" appears, hold the "PAUSE" button down until "DIAGNOSTICS" appears.
(I told you that was tricky... so after you press "RESET"... 'PLEASE WAIT" will come on... as soon as the screen goes "BLANK" you must hold the 'PAUSE' button before "SELECT PROGRAM" comes on. If "SELECT PROGRAM": comes on you have pressed and held "PAUSE" TOO LATE! You must time it right between 'PLEASE WAIT" and "SELECT PROGRAM" when the screen is BLANK. Why LifeFitness made this so difficult is a MYSTERY!!!!)
OKAY... TO CONTINUE...
4) After "DIAGNOSTICS" appears, use the arrows to scroll to "CALIBRATION."
5) Then press the 'START" button (make sure it's the SILVER not the black START button!)
6) The treadmill will then automatically cycle through a series of tests including speed and incline adjustments in order to complete the "CALIBRATION."
7) When successfully completed, the console will display: "PASS"
8) YOU'RE DONE! And your incline should work now. You may have to TURN OFF the treadmill and TURN it back "ON" so that you can resume using the treadmill.
Hope this helps! Once again... LifeFitness should have made this 'RECALIBRATION" much simpler!
Good luck! It's very hard the first time... but once you do it a few times, it gets easier!
Life fitness 95xi display not working - The
Battery is obvious first check. Using a multimeter on 20V DC setting, touch both + and - terminals and not should be very close to 6V. In my case, my battery was 2V but after replacing it, still wouldn't power on. I did notice by main wiring harness from control board to the display was warm, so I repacked the control board and voila! I probably static shocked the control board when i was moving it. Check the speed sensor to turn on the elliptical, or send the lower board to repair with www.xtremefitnessservice.com, ask for Javier
I have a life fitness T3 showing an error FOLDED. What does that mean?
The treadmill has a 'folding' feature for the incline setting. A safety switch must be reading this feature as not locked. Try this. Set the incline to 0% and the speed to zero. Step in front of the treadmill and using both hands carefully raise the whole front until the legs click and lock into place.
To lower the treadmill kneel behind the treadmill. Place your Right hand on the belt and lean your weight on it. At the back of the treadmill on the Left side panel is a lever. Pull this lever until the treadmill stops lowering.
