Lg washer drain hose is plugged with sand
I used an old wire hanger and stuck it into the drain hose to create a pathway for the water to drain. Once it started dripping out, I used a squirt bottle filled with hot water to squirt into the drain hose and plugged it back. Took the now empty squirt bottle and used it as a siphon. Squeezed the bottle as hard as I could to force air into the hose and the reverse pressure pulled the water and sand out. I repeated this process once the bottle was almost full, plugged the tube, emptied the squirt bottle and repeated until the tube was clear of any sand. Worked like a champ with no messy clean up. Once the tube was drained, then cleaning out the trap was very easy and almost completely dry.
WM0642HW LG water level is too low.I want to get
YES YOU CAN RAISE THE WATER LEVEL ! Raise the top of the washer lid by removing the 4 dispenser screws. Push side of dispenser tabs to drop dispenser down off from lid. Using an opener or flat item, insert into lid front edge to depress inward the metal top hold down clip. Do the left side first then the right side. Raise the lid. You'll see the water level sensor switch on the inner cabinet upper right side. You will see a set screw for a phillips screwdriver. Slowly turn that screw CLOCKWISE about a quarter turn. With washer cylinder emply, and holding detergent dispenser assembly upright so it won't spill water into inner cabinet area, start the washer. You will see the water level rise to a higher set point than just to the edge of the gray cylinder baffels.I have set mine to fill to the edge of the rubber door seal. I wouldn't go any higher than that. I see no need for the water level going over onto the glass window area.Ever since i raised the water level so my clothing tumbles in water instead of wicking up water as before and only becomming fully saturated nearing the end of the wash segment. The new adjustment has ended all of the complaints i had earlier about this washer not cleaning or rinsing well. My laundry is clean the first time around and all my washer needed was a few more gallons of water to work with. LG themselves were of NO help when i called dozens of times before .They just gave me the run around and never a straight answer about the water level except nothing could be done, it was based on laundry load weight, too bad so sad. That was TOTALLY UNTRUE! I found out how to adjust it by another owner of the LG WM0642HW posting this info on how to raise the water level, and how to go about doing it.I've not had to do a single rewash since turning that water level switch higher.Honestly!

LG WM3988HWA water filling drum and overflowing during dry cycle
Solution for finding the right part, the (5 way) Valve assembly:
Part Number: AP4998623 made by LGhttp://www.appliancepartspros.com/partsearch/model.aspx?model_id=5520795I got the company link from LG. If the link does not work, go the the main website and enter in the model number. appliancepartspro(.)comp.s. I found a service manual for my unit when I removed (by unscrewing) the inside plastic piece of the pump filter. It was located to the right, in a plastic bag.p.s.s. I checked my water pressure, it was 90psi. I think this is why my flow limiter 'shot out' the valve and into the tubing.p.s.s.s. The dryer heater assembly, the duct out, fan, and tubing was filled with so much lint, I was surprised anything could get through.
I have a LG WD-1018C
The error code "PE" stands for pressure sensor error. This is typically caused by a malfunctioning water pressure sensor switch.
Model WF-T802. Why doesn't it start?
Would not finish the rinse cycle. I replaced the water inlet valve which solved the problem. Same problem again. I replaced the water inlet valve but now it doesn't start.
Model WT5001CW top loader. OE error. Why doesn't it drain?
If your washing machine cannot either drain or spin then the water level control could be faulty. Open up and look at the washers control panel and also look for a plastic tube attached to the water level valve. If appears to be clogged clean it out with vinegar. If the valve itself is broken or rusted then. it may need to be replaced.Have a person that repairs washing machines to have a look at it.
Lg top load washing machine leaking from bottom
Many things to cause that. Put sheets of newspaper slid underneath between the feet. Run a wash, slide the paper out every 10 minutes to locate the area where the leak is. Wait for the cycle to finish. Pull the machine out and tip it towards the wall. Make sure it won't fall forward by getting someone to hold it.
Could be;
hole in the drum.
leaking pump
leaking hose clamps
perished rubber pipes
leak in the drain hose
The wet spots on the newspaper will pinpoint the leak area.
