How to replace the filter

Hello,

Take the new water filter out of the box and remove the two red shipping caps on the end of the filter.
The water filter is located on the front panel down near the floor.
Push the release button located just to the left of the water filter grille cap, this will release the filter.
Remove the grille cap from the filter by twisting it counterclockwise.
Reinstall the grille cap on the new water filter.
Insert the new water filter in the refrigerator making sure the words on the filter are the correct side up.
Push the water filter in until it clicks in place.
Flush Water After Installing New Filter
Be sure you flush out the water from the new filter after you replace it! Many readers are having trouble with airlocks because they are skipping this important step. Kenmore recommends you run the water out of the water and ice maker for a few minutes to flush out the new filter. This also helps remove air bubbles from the system. If you don’t do this it’s possible that the water dispenser may not work properly due to an air lock.

This particular water filter claims to reduce:
Cysts and turbidity – linked to gastrointestinal problems
Lead
Chlorine – taste and odor for better tasting water
Sediment – for clearer water
o-Dichlorobenzene – linked to risk of liver, kidney, or circulatory system problems
Benzene – linked to increase risk of cancer and anemia.
Note continue changing the filter on a regular basis.
Hope this helpout....

ER 1F

It is ER IF and indicates that the ice maker fan is not working. The fan is probably frozen. If you can remove the fan duct and housing at the back of the freezer you may be able to defrost the ice in the fan enclosure. The fan may have frozen because of hight humidity or because the defrost cycle is not working.

LG express cooler not working, no cool air blowing in side but the light is on while the top freezer is in good working conditions

Doesn't sound good but check the cooling coils to make sure they aren't covered in dust and lint. It is quite amazing how much lint collects on the coils in all home and should be vacuumed off regularly. Next try and access the fan and spin it by hand [power off!] and then plug in again. If it still doesn't spin the check that it is getting power and if so you nee a new fan.

My LG icebeam door cooling refrigerator freezer is not working I changed the fuse as well.

I am think your problem is it is not coming on. If that is right my first thoughts do you have power to refrigerator. Check breaker or fuse in house electrical panel which powers the refrigerator outlet. Try turning the breaker off and back on . You might try unplugging the refrigerator and plug something else into the outlet to see if it will work if you do not have a volt meter. You said you changed the refrigerator fuse was it blown and could it have blown the new fuse. If it has power but is not working there are a few you tube videos for help with several issues. I searched for( LG ice beam door cooling refrigerator freezer not working) and picked these two you can look for more. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ThLYEwCs800 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YNwcwOtCB70

Lg fridge lmx 25984 no ice and no water. if I power off the unit for a few minutes and turn it back on I will get water thru the dispenser but only for a minute or 2 then the water shuts off.

Did your fridge come with a dummy or fake filter? If so put that in and see if it will dispense. It may be that the fridge software is preventing the ice maker and water dispenser from working until the filter is replaced. Some GE fridges actively prevent bypassing the filter.

I have a LG LFX31935st and the ice maker will not dispense ice. It makes it, just wont dispense. Also, water seems to be leaking into one of the Produce/Meat drawers inside the fridge.

Possibly a clogged piece of ice from water leakage preventing the dispensing of ice. If you haven't tried taking the ice bucket out and rinsing it under hot water to get all the frozen ice out, you should. Lowering the water pressure to the fridge by turning the knob on the connection at the wall should help prevent the excess water and clogging going forward. There is a very small change between almost off and just on, where the water will still dispense from the front of the fridge but you can tell that the pressure is less, that should give the desired results. It may take some trial and error by testing the water flow from the door while adjusting the valve at the wall. The water pressure adjustment may help with the flooding problem under the meat/cheese drawer as well, but most likely you have a clogged drain too because it's a very common issue with these fridges. There should be a panel on the bottom back of the fridge with 3 or 4 Phillips head screws that opens access to the drain tubes which are just about in the horizontal center. The drain tubes are little white plastic tubes with flexible bulges (they look like really oversized whitish/clear bendy straws). They are about 5 inches long each and you will probably see a bunch of gunk at the bottom where they enter the plastic evaporation tray. There is a rubber grommet with a flap on the end of them that needs to be cleaned out, and there may even be some ice formed in the tube that needs to be cleaned out. This will take a bit of time and patience while crouching or on your knees, so be ready for that and have towels ready for excess water. I found a turkey baster and a glass of warm water to be very helpful as well.

LG french door glide and serve hinge flap stuck

If yours is the same as mine, the hood (what I believe you are calling the "flap") is not meant to open. It is there so you can see what's in the drawer, but it doesn't lift up, even with the trays above out of the way.

Lg ice maker works if you manually push the reset button but then won't make a second tray of ice it empties 3/4 of the cubes then does not refill so you have to manually do it gain each time

LG has rather finicky icemakers that are usually computerized. There are magnetic pickups that tend to not read right causing icemaker failure. If it will cycle but not fill then this is most likely the issue. Without knowing the model#, I can only guess but as long as you have proper temperatures then the icemaker will need to be replaced.
