I had the same issue twice (2 diffrent devices) on LG Blue-ray HX-906 - stuck on "please wait" after switching it on. It turned out to be defective mainboard - main BGA chip (the one with black radiator) has some problem with connection to mainboard. Here is how to repair it:- dismount the mainboard- take off the radiator from the main chip- put alluminium foil around the chip to avoid unnecessary heating up of other parts of PCB- heat up the chip using air hotgun to about 200 celsius for about 5 minutes. That is the problem with top loaders, central agitators and long items like towels, They get tangled and tear. It is also likely that your towels are worn out. To wash successfully, you need a lot of water and only 3 or 4 towels. Front loaders don't do that and uses a tenth of the water and energy to heat that water.

The power supply is bad or problems with the screen or with the the LCD.

The check filter indicator is a reminder to clean the lint filter before each use to ensure effective drying every time. The back of the lry517 has 2 sets of audio outs and 1 set of audio ins. If you are using the component video outs, use the audio outs to the right of the component outs. If you are using AV1, it should be the audio to the left of the component outs. The tape's audio may be very low, try turning up the tv volume? You could also try adjusting the tracking? Have you tried using the AV1 outputs? It would be Composite Video and stereo audio.

Buy a new TV, water and electronics don't mix

I assume you changed all the LED strips when you changed the bad ones, NEVER replace part of them, if you didn't replace them all, open the set up again and replace the ones that weren't replaced the first time and all will be well.

Under Settings > Storage you'll find the option to free more space.

If the HDD is corrupt or had damaged tracks it will not innitialise and the rest of the system will not complete power on.

Try a power Reset first before delving deeper.
