Most common failures in the LCD monitors are bad capacitors (bulging top/seal or leaking) in the power supply, failed inverter circuits (blown fuse, shorted transistors, shorted/open transformers), bad lamps (poor solder connections or worn out lamps). After you have the menu displayed, go to Setup (which is the bottommost tab on the vertical panel to the left, represented by a toothed wheel) highlight the first line at the top using auto/set button, and change it using + or - until you find english displayed

ok try this one switch the hard-drive off and on again to restart it and then the screen would come one.

I have the same problem, i try to fix it my self. It's seem the horizontal power transistor J5804 has been broken/short. So I replaced with the new one. When i turn on my monitor, the crt's display normally and the blinking power led is become lite on. But when i use it about 30 minute the crt goes black again and the power led is blinking again. Is there anything wrong on the circuits. Please help!

Check the all the cables. Check input settings by using the menu.

Unfortunately, I can't help you with this issue, because I don't understand it at all. My eldest daughter installed CCTV cameras at my home because she is afraid of me because I am supposedly already old. But then she also installed smoke detectors and water leaks, she is afraid that I may leave the water not turned off or the stove, so she installed them. And in the application from this Ajax company, I monitor the security of my home and, in principle, this application is clear to me, although I am not very friendly with technology.

• Larry Ng Jul 15, 2021that is just a YEAR 2007 LCD computer monitor, it needs a computer to work. if it fails in a 2nd PC , if that test fails,the monitor is bad. (hardward failure, monitor. the tests are simple, it fails on 2nd good PC, what can be more simple that test ANY 14 year old monitor on a 2nd good PC. when dead do this.(test2) they are all here when dead again use a FLASH LIGHT. (has CCFL inside and that is never fun now) the cure is newer monitors 2011 to now called LED monitor.s or OLED. the tubes are cold cathode florescent tubes. (back lamps.) (have 5 classic fail symptoms not just dead) they are short lived, laptops and monitors both back then. 20,00hours on the clock and go bad. bank on it. the 3 failures are CCFL, PSU board, and logic board #1 is CCFL the all died long ago, on average about year 2003 (07 +5= 12, 2012) at 20,000 yours boom dead. or intermittent. (using bench PSU to test them) but you have non of that so. upgrade

• Anonymous Jul 23, 2021 99% of all monitors are all dead. due to those silly low live CCFL back lamps. or the 2cards inside that can fail too. PSU card +HV CCLF power or the Data card is dead. 99.9% of folks seen these facts, upgrade now. high voltage inside 600v on the CCFL pins

Right click on your desktop>Properties, then click on Screen saver tab, then at botton of the box you should see 'Monitor Power'. Click on 'Power' then Power schemes tab. Look at 'Turn off monitor' and set to 'Never'

Hi. I have got the same problem, and it was very easy to solve. Monitor was LG. The problem was not in the system, it was in the monitor. I just clicked the buttons on the monitor, it was on the wrong setting that divides monitor in two colors, so if it happens to you, try checking your monitor settings, mine was set to "demonstration", half was lighter than the other one, just set it to usual or user. Keep in mind the settings are on the monitor itself, not in the windows (buttons on the monitor itself) Good luck.

You can try starting laptop first and TV after some time or vice versa, tv first.

That's probably a message from the monitor because it's not getting a signal from the computer. Look at the VGA cord where it plugs into the computer, or the monitor to see if you bent pins when reinserting the plug.

Hi, Sounds like an issue of the video card not the monitor. Take to computer shop to verify. One thing you can try is drop the dpi down (refresh rate)a bit. Then try again. If that makes sense to you. Hope that helps.
