We have a Goodman GMS9/GCS9 AC, furnace unit in our attic. We have had it for 10 years and last year it started to leak water in the summer time.

All A/C have a built in defrost drain and that should take away condensate from the evaporator coils during the defrost cycle.. If all the cold pipes have insulation on them, there should be no sweating. If it only started sweating for the last 2 years, you may have deterioration to the pipe insulation, or damage from critters. You are not alone https://www.google.com/search?q=Goodman+GMS9%2FGCS9+leaking Michigan Heating Guy is a great channel on YouTube. ..

Pentair Flotec 1/2hp Well Pump. How do I wire a new start capacitor to it please?

Question edited for clarity. Wow, no water for a week! I can't begin to imagine how difficult that is to cope with. This is a good site https://terrylove.com/forums/index.php?threads/need-wiring-diagram-verification.62234/ Lots more here and also on the images tab https://www.google.com/search?q=flotec+1%2F2hp+well+pump+%22start+capacitor%22+wiring+diagram The Flotec pump has a model number, and it would be good to Google Flotec (model) replace start capacitor. All problems can be solved via Google. Good luck.

Is my Model Allegiance 13 Model No 4A7A3018A1000AA condenser unit compatible to replace start capacitor with Hard Start Kit?

As of my last knowledge update in September 2021, the compatibility of a hard start kit with a specific condenser unit can depend on various factors including the design of the unit, its electrical components, and the manufacturer's guidelines. The best way to determine compatibility and ensure a safe installation is to consult the manufacturer's documentation or contact a qualified HVAC technician. Here are some general points to consider: 1. **Manufacturer Recommendations:** Check the owner's manual or technical specifications for your Allegiance 13 Model 4A7A3018A1000AA condenser unit. The manufacturer may provide guidelines on whether a hard start kit can be added and which models are compatible. 2. **HVAC Technician Advice:** It's recommended to seek advice from a licensed HVAC technician who can evaluate your specific condenser unit and its electrical system. They can provide insights based on their expertise and experience. 3. **Hard Start Kit Type:** There are different types of hard start kits available, including potential relay kits and start capacitor kits. The compatibility can vary based on the kit type and the characteristics of your unit. 4. **Electrical Load:** Hard start kits are often used in situations where there are issues with motor starting due to high electrical load or other factors. If you're experiencing difficulties with motor starting, a hard start kit might be a consideration. 5. **Warranty and Liability:** Adding aftermarket components like hard start kits could impact warranties or create potential liability issues if not installed correctly. Ensure that any modifications are done by qualified professionals. 6. **Voltage and Amp Rating:** Ensure that the hard start kit's voltage and amp rating match the specifications of your condenser unit. 7. **Installation:** If a hard start kit is compatible and recommended, it's important to have it installed by a qualified HVAC technician who is familiar with your specific unit and the electrical connections involved. Since the information I have is based on data available up until September 2021, I recommend reaching out to your HVAC technician or the manufacturer to get the most up-to-date and accurate information regarding the compatibility of a hard start kit with your specific condenser unit model.

Is there a AO Smith heater that will fit in this spot without changing gas piping?

A typical tankless water heater will need a ¾-inch gas line. However, if there is sufficient pressure and the run length is short enough, a ½-inch line may be sufficient with certain tankless water heaters, such as the Noritz EZ Series.Nov 8, 2018

My Tadiran A/C stopped responding to the remote. It's not the remotes problem because I bought a new one and it also doesn't work?

Take the remote and aim it to the front facing selfie camera of a smartphone. You should see a red flash when you press a button. You need to check that both remotes work. If they do, you need dealer service because it is the IR Sensor Board or the control board.

Beeping coming from unit

One of the most common causes of an air conditioner's beeping is a dirty air filter. When the air filter becomes clogged with dirt, dust, and other debris, it can restrict the flow of air through the system. This can cause the air con to overheat and trigger a safety switch, causing it to beep.

My Carlin 60200FR states flame detected but has no flame. I reset and clear faults and still nothing happens. What can I do to fix?

If your Carlin 60200FR burner is displaying a "flame detected" message but there is no actual flame, there are several potential causes for this issue. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can take:
  1. Check fuel supply: Ensure that you have a sufficient supply of fuel oil or gas to the burner. Verify that the fuel valves are open and that there are no obstructions or blockages in the fuel line.
  2. Inspect ignition system: Check the ignition system components, such as the electrodes or spark plug, depending on the type of ignition used by your burner. Make sure they are clean and properly positioned. If they are dirty or misaligned, clean or adjust them accordingly.
  3. Clean or replace fuel nozzle: The fuel nozzle may be clogged or dirty, preventing the proper fuel flow. Clean the nozzle using a suitable cleaning agent or, if necessary, replace it with a new one.
  4. Check for air intake blockages: Inspect the air intake for any obstructions or blockages that may be preventing proper air flow into the burner. Clear away any debris or dirt that may be hindering the combustion process.
  5. Verify electrical connections: Ensure that all electrical connections to the burner are secure and properly connected. Check for any loose wires, damaged cables, or faulty connections. If necessary, tighten connections or replace damaged components.
  6. Reset the burner control: Resetting the burner control can sometimes help resolve issues. Locate the reset button or switch on the control unit and press or toggle it to reset the system. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for resetting the specific model of your Carlin 60200FR burner.
  7. Consult the user manual or contact technical support
