Hello, In order to help you will need more info. It is connect to network or to the usb or parrallel or ethernet? Do you have the proper drivers loaded on the computer? If not you can go to lexmark.com and go to support and drivers and get them there.

Hello, This doesn't take ink, it only takes toner and you can get from Best Buy , Staples or Wal mart.

If you are sure about the ink then take out the cartridges andput them back in place.

you could start on page 168 of the manual. I don't like to type everything there. In the end you still have to read it.

The black ink cartridge, though sealed, may have dried out.

Have you confirmed that the power source is pumping out the correct voltage/amps with a voltmeter, too? I'm assuming you meant that you verified the power outlet works?
