Windows 10 is Plug and Play so connecting the printer by USB cable, Win 10 should auto-discover it once it is powered up.

If the printer not found message happens after connecting the cable and then auto-discover faults, might try a different USB port on the PC or a different USB cable.

If the error occurs when scanning for new devices, pretty much the same thing goes.

Or the printer has an issue and will not communicate over USB for some reason. Perhaps a factory reset of the printer settings, to clear some erroneous setting, would help.

Last suggestion: make sure your Windows 10 Update is run to take all the latest patches (may take several Update/Reboot cycles to get them all), and that the OS is properly licensed and activated with a valid license key. Some features are disabled when the OS is not activated. Anti-virus software might be blocking the software install needed. If the printer came with a disc, connect the printer, power it on, insert the disc and see if it will install a driver.

The web site shows this printer is discontinued so maybe it is old enough that they didn't produce a Win 10 driver. Windows Update should pick one up if it is available as most HW manufacturers publish their drivers through the Windows Update process.

Fit a genuine cartridge.

Over time the rollers get slick and hard. If one side is slick and the other edge is not, it will grab paper sideways and you get a paper jam. Get some rubbing alcohol and rub the rollers (completely all around) to get some debris removed. Some rollers require a slight rubbing with an abrasive pad.

Uninstall the printer and reinstall it.If you don't have the driver windows OS may recognize it depending on how old the printer is.Also the Mfg.'s website will have it

Probably you need to purchase new one - Lexmark E250X22G photoconductor. Every 60000 prints you need to change it or If it is OPC drum (green roller) damaged.

Do you see the same 'pink' on the transfer belt? If so...it needs to be replaced. When it is one color though....its usually the toner cartridge.

I typically install drivers for the newer OS first and then the older. Try downloading the Win7 drivers and install them on the Win7 computer. Then install the additional XP drivers.

I would be calling Lexmark about this because this is not a user serviceable issue. If you are down to measuring the size of boxes that it prints out and they are not right, I would want to see what the issue is and how to fix it.

This printer has a USB connection. Plug the USB cable into the computer and the other end into the printer. Then install the software from the lexmark website. Just search on google for 'lexmark 4419-060 drivers'. Alex

Mamdouh, I searched the net, with no luck on manual, you may have to go to Lexmark site and see if you can download installation disc/software because it probably has the instructions on it, instead of a paper manual. Most of the time this is caused by either a bad/wrong print driver being used. A corrupted file that you are trying to print. You need to clear the queue on your workstation and restart the printer to see if it comes to ready normally. Depending on your version of Windows you may need to manually clear the print queue. If above does not work, post back with your windows version.

Try pressing Control and P when the manual is on your screen.

You may have too many print jobs in the queue or issues with the spool when you're sending documents to your device. If you can provide a model number I can provide a better and more specific solution, however here are a few things to try. 1) Disconnect the USB cable from both ends of the device, as well as the Ethernet cable (if applicable). 2) Unplug from the power source and wait about 3-5 minutes. This will let the memory entirely clear out. 3) Optional: If it is a LaserJet you can inspect the sides and see if there is a slow that opens up and shows the Memory. If it is empty - this could be the issue and you will need to order the part. If there is a stick in there, pull it out while unplugged for 30 seconds then plug it back in. 4) Reboot your PC 5) While the computer is rebooting, plug everything back up to the printer, do NOT plug in the USB cable back into the PC until it is fully loaded. Try plugging the Printer into a different USB port. It will now locate the drivers and pop back up as usable. 6) Try printing a Text document - one with NO images and is completely plain. 7) If this works try printing an image. This is to test if the memory is being overloaded. 8) If this fails you'll need to Uninstall and Reinstall the Printer by going into your Control Panel. This will be located under Devices & Printers, depending on your Operating System - it may be directly under Printers.
