Lexicon Computers & Internet - Popular Questions, Answers, Tips & Manuals
Hi. Is the Laser on the Lexicon RT-10 the same as the Lexicon RT-20 (Universal disc Player)
googling I see nothing,. 2003 21 years old it is.not told, I only have questions and do you really understand the limitations of licenses for SACD and ADVD.what is end goal fix it and uses it or sell it after buying one dead.??????????? goals mattergoal #2, do you need this licenses for SACD and ADVD.??????? do you have 2009 dead media, to play?dead as in production ended SACD.that limit locks all this down , fully. The maker does not support it;.the maker has no service manual.s and the users manual forbids, DISASSEMBLY (sure for SACD/ADVD) there maker has no spare parts leaving only used ones on ebay or the like kinds (Parts pullers)a used working drive sells for $300, 1/10th of new or less sold used, now. There are other SONY decks for $400 sold.now let me say how, licenses for SACD and ADVD. works.as see on the PS3 play station it is 100% hard not locked down.the parts inside the drive all cross check each other and are married and most can not be willlynilly swapped. The owners of SACD make that happen. in the license.the parts inside the driver can be ID SN locked and even the whole drive locked to the main base chip or firmware.lacking a service manual means all this is a pathway to doom, (huge cost buying worthless parts)why go here.better if not using SACD/ADVD (not told)vast alternates exist and far better and for sure full support and a real future

Lex Lambda interface on OSX 10.6 has been working
Hi. I think this is a simple fix.
I would uninstall your sound card software and reinstall it, as this sounds like thesoftware has a corruption issue. Reinstalling it should fix the problem.
Also, check your computer to make sure that there aren't any other interface software that is trying to use the same resources...i.e. irq, dma, or memory areas.
These can effect it as well. Also, you may have installed software that is calling on a specific region of memory, and that may be the same memory area as the Lex Lamba.
It may be that it an OS Xissue as well, so I would check to make sue that none of it's software is conflicting.
I know this may seem like a lot of different things, but you may find that after just doing the replacement of the software that the problem goes away.
If not, then at least now you know what areas could be causing it.
One other thing that you can try is to uninstall the sound card form the pc, and reinstall it in another location on the motherboard...i.e. move from one pci slot to another. It could be a slot problem.
Good luck, and I hope my info has been helpful to you.
I have been successfully using Lexicon Lambda for
First make sure usb cable connected to harddrive is working fine.
try it in different usb ports.
Press windows key +R key so you can see run then type in run "devmgmt.msc" then press ok so you can see device manager uninstall all usb drivers then it automatic install usb drivers.
then check.
Also you need to change registry for that type in run "regedit" then press ok then you can see registry editor then locate below key.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E965-E325-11 CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}
And remove upper filter and lower filter. Then restart computer then check.
Try your harddrive in different computer if it is not recognized on another computer too then your harddrive has internal issue.
Let me know if you need further assistance.
Thanks for using FixYa

I have a lexicon omaga drive but when i hook it up...
Don't know what OS you're running. Omega has published drivers for Vista and 7 64-bit versions. They say they don't support XP 64, but when I hooked my unit up to my computer and the hardware install wizard came up the OS found and installed Microsoft published general USB audio device drivers for all inputs, midi, and mac USB channels of the Omega, and automatically set it as my default device. I hooked headphones into the Omega unit and could hear system sounds. So far so good. Went to My Music and fired up an audio file. Windows Media Player started up and the song started playing but I couldn't hear anything. Opened the same file with Audacity, could see the VU meters bouncing, but still no sound in my headphones. Went in to the preferences of Audacity, and manually set the speaker default to the Omega mac USB device. Hit play again and voila! I had sound. Closed the file, started WMP manually, went in to options, and again set the speaker default to Omega mac USB. Opened the same audio file and this time it played just fine. The driver files Windows used for my card were
C:\\WINDOWS\SysWOW64\ksproxy.ax, C:\\WINDOWS\System32\drivers\ks.sys, C:\\WINDOWS\System32\drivers\ksthunk.sys,
C:\\WINDOWS\System32\drivers\portcls.sys,
C:\\WINDOWS\System32\drivers\stream.sys,
C:\\WINDOWS\System32\drivers\USBAUDIO.sys,
C:\\WINDOWS\System32\ksproxy.ax,
C:\\WINDOWS\System32\ksuser.dll,
C:\\WINDOWS\System32\wdmaud.drv,
all version 5.2.3790.1830
Hope this helps everybody else with this problem.
