Hi,
If the WIFI address is an unsecured address you will not need a password...
If the address is setup to be a secured address then you will need to ask the owner or the owners representative for the password to the address that you are trying to connect to....

If you are at a hotel or something like that ask them for the password...
in airports or many other public places you can look for an unsecured WIFI and then click on that to use it...

I have the exact same problem. Also it deleted all personal info and then I saw it said panditial color and mine is white. Seems like a phone info not ereader. Hope someone can help us.

First, check the battery and charger. The Charger might be defective and maybe that's why it is not charging the battery.If the battery is very flat, and charger is defective, the unit won't power on.

if it does not power up even when the battery and charger is good, then it means its having a power problem. it might have worked fine in the past, but that's electronics for you. Power surge, irregular power supply, excess power supply, etc can affect the unit thereby not making it to power on.

This unit must have a power supply board in it where power enters from the mains. A capacitor, fuse, diode, etc may have been defective on the power board and maybe that's why its not making the unit turn on. There might also be some disconnection or something, inside the unit which is not making it to power on.

To actually find out what's wrong, you need to disassemble the unit with a screw driver and check what's wrong. You will be needing a meter in order to test the components on the power board, once you detect any bad component, you can make necessary replacement at any electronics accessories store withing our vicinity. This is the only way by which you can detect the problem.

Of course, testing the power board with a meter will require someone that has the ability. So it you can't, then you might be needing the help of a repairman or you can call a friend that has the ability to help you out.

I asked Pantech and the short answer is, you can't.

However, I discovered if you slide out the keyboard out it will unlock without the annoying click.

Please, go to the Pantech website and leave a complaint so it gets fixed in the next release of software. IMHO, the lock/unlock sound should follow whatever the Touch Feedback settings are for volume !

Remove the battery wait a minute and replace it

i have the same problem, try re-editing the number, if it lets you re-save the new contact and it will complete the synchronization, if not then turn it off and back on, it will let you edit it then. it was kind of a pain when mine kept yelling at me but so far this is all ive found to help with the issue, ive had it for a couple months and didnt know what it was trying to do in the first place for a while. this wont stop it from freaking out again the next time you add in a number, but just re-edit again and it will calm down.

The problem is that the lens has become stuck in the barrel. There are some DIY solutions you could try, but the probability is that you will have to get it fixed by a professional.

Use these at own risk as it may further damage the camera.

Firstly , try connecting your ac adapter or usb cable.

Try holding the shutter button while switching on the camera.

Look at the lens , and if some of the lens 'circles' is misaligned or not concentric then try wiggling it (while holding camera lens down).

Try gently pushing or pulling the lens when it extends but this is risky as it may cause the lens barrel to slip out of its guidance system.

Another way to do this is to place the camera lens down on a hard surface and then power it up. Be sure to use a soft cloth or something similar as to not scratch your lens or casing. Let the lens push the camera up and down a few times and sometimes the little resistance provided by the camera is enough to get things going again.

Try hitting your camera near the lens on the body with the soft tissue on the palm of your hand.

Other than that , I would take the camera to a repair centre for a evaluation to see if it would cost more to repair than to replace the camera.

If it is still under warranty I would suggest you take it in before trying any of these steps and remove any off-brand batteries or accessories as some stores are really fussy about warranty repairs on camera's with non-brand accessories.

Yes you can find it using your phone and it will cost you the exact amount it charges you for browsing with your phone but Since the gps is dead, then it means there is no power or signal on the device for your phone to be able to reach it. I will strongly advice you search for it thoroughly. If there is no power on a gps device, you will not be able to find it.
