I don't think you can. Just open a google account even if you don't use it. After you get the tablet set up you can go back and delete the google account.

try to open it with notepad - if that doesn't work, try selecting 'download the right program from internet' when you click on 'open'.

Try Settings / Safe Mode and deselect it.

Is this connected to the net? If so, you may have a trojan virus. I have run across this in my own pc's and had the same symptoms. I used a norton anti virus prgm to find it. Once removed all was well.
