My dvd rom icon not

Hi errajeev_iit,

The CD/DVD Driver is an Operating System generic Driver and it can be re-installed from the Device Manager. Please press with Window Logo and the R Keys on your Keyboard to open the Run window, then type devmgmt.msc and press the Enter Key to open the Device Manager. After that, on the Open Device Manager window, please click the "Actions" menu and select the Scan for Hardware changes option. This will re-install the CD/DVD Drive Driver in the Computer.

Hope this helps.

Lenovo c540 continuously beeps on start with an empty blue screen. No cursor

Hello, Thank you for contacting Fixya. Based from what i read in your post, seems like some hardware issue, Please try disconnecting all cable and hard drive , optical drive & card reader. Create a minimum set and check booting the system also tries using some different Memory module to verify. If system is working fine, now try connecting devices one by one to check which device is creating the issue. If Issue is not fixed please contact local Lenovo Support to have your system verified

Why do i have a light on my lenovo lxh ekb 10ya keyboard (looks like a house with a plus sign) which key puts this light off

I'm thinking that is the symbol for your internet browser home page. There is a button/key which opens your browser on your home page. That light may never go out - if it's just an indicator of the button/key function. Read your keyboard owner's manual.

How do i connect my lenovo laptop to a hisense wifi tv cant seem to figure it out...android works fine

For wireless, you will need to know how to select the right input source on your TV [wireless, bluetooth?]. You may then have to tell your laptop to activate wireless video output. Read your owner's manual for BOTH devices.

When i try to turn my lenovo laptop on all i get is The computer restarted unexpectedly or encountered an unexpected error. Windows cannot proceed. To install windows, click OK to restart the computer

In my limited experience all IBM compatible computers and that is nearly all of them, work in just about the same way. Faced with your problem I would begin by getting into the bios and changing the boot order. Access the bios during the start of the startup as directed in one of the first few screens - it all happens so fast the computer might have to be restarted several times by pressing the Alt, Ctrl and Del buttons together. Access the bios by pressing the Del, F8 or whatever at the critical time. Once into the bios go to the page dealing with the boot order and rearrange them so the dvd/cd drive is first in the order and then save the change and exit; then put the Windows system disc in the drive and close the drawer and very quickly restart the computer. If all is good an onscreen message should appear, Boot from disc? or similar...

WAnt to know if fifa

By the looks of the information you gave me...it seems that FIFA '11 might not be able to or may have a real hard time playing on your machine, but it doesn't hurt to try! If it doesn't work, then just simply uninstall it.
Hope this helps ^_^

My Lenovo tablet won't start again. It is charging and has a full battery. A black screen flickering after the LENOVO name is shown. Is there a possibility to give it a HARD RESET.

Hard Reset

1-Unplug the device and power off by holding the power button down
Wait 5 seconds, then

2- hold down both the volume up and power buttons (volume up is the side of the long button that is closest to the power button), until you see a screen with “Select Boot Mode” text on it. When you see that, release both buttons.

3-Press the volume up button to move the arrow until it is pointing at the “Recovery Mode” option, then press the volume down button to select it.

4-The “android” logo should appear for a few seconds, then you should be in the “Android system recovery” menu.

5-Use the volume up / down buttons to highlight the “wipe data/factory reset” option, then press the power button to select it.

6-Use the volume up / down buttons to highlight the “Yes — delete all user data” option, then press the power button to select it.

7-Once that has completed, you should be returned to the “Android system recovery” menu. Make sure the top option, “reboot system now”, is selected, then press the power button to select it.

8-The device should reboot and display the “android” logo, followed by the swirling coloured dots. You can then plug the device back in and wait for it to boot up. This will take a long time (up to around 5 minutes).

9-Once the device has booted back into the app, you should be able to set up the wifi, log in with your credentials and re-download your property data.
