i would check the disk, it may have errors, try another disk to see if this is infact the prob

To remove LVT (Lenovo Vantage Technology) on your Lenovo computer, follow these steps:

1. On the Start menu (for Windows 8, right-click the screen's bottom-left corner), click Control Panel, and then, under Programs, do one of the following:
   • Windows Vista/7/8: Click Uninstall a Program.
   • Windows XP: Click Add or Remove Programs.
2. When you find the program "LVT" or "Lenovo Vantage Technology", click it, and then do one of the following:
   • Windows Vista/7/8: Click Uninstall.
   • Windows XP: Click the Remove or Change/Remove tab (to the right of the program).
3. Follow the prompts. A progress bar shows you how long it will take to remove LVT.

Hi The PrtSc (Print Screen) key when pressed will seem to do nothing but it does when you hit the key it puts a copy of your current screen to the clipboard. To prove this do as below 1 press the Prtsc button on your desktop 2 Load paint and choose new 3 go to the paste option or press CTRL+V and you should get a copy of your desktop in paint. the sockets for P4 and a dual core are different. you will have to replace your motherboard. getting a new desktop will be a better option.

Unfortunately, blue screens happen for hundreds of different reasons. There's no real way to tell at first, I recommend google searching the reason/troubleshoot code it gives you. You need to enter the bios when it powers up and disable the power saving settings. I think its the f11 key or del key to enter the bios immediately you see a display screen when you switch it on then navigate to the power saving settings area in the bios.
