I met the same difficulty for the previous period,and I know the easy an effive method that you can use Windows Password Reset to solve it by the Internet,while the use method is following. Tip1:Download Windows Password Reset from http://www.windowspasswordreset.net and install it on other unlocked computer.Tip2:Burn Windows Password Reset to CD/DVD or USB.Tip3:Insert newly created CD/DVD or USB to your computer which you forgot its password and reboot it,and follow the instruction that follows. Back up any info from the drive. This is a destructive process and you will lose anything on that 80gb HD. Re-format the drive using any of your disc management programs. I assume you are working in a Windows environment. Noro makes a utility disc that manages drive and file issues. Select the number of partitions as one (1) partition and the file format you want to use. Wipe the drive. RAID configuration disappears. You're good to go! But why go through all this trouble for an 80gb drive? Much larger drives are very cheap now and come formatted. Why buy a cow when milk is so cheap?

Does the computer stay on while plugged in? If so, replace the battery. DO NOT replace it with a cheap replacement. Please, just trust me. They are garbage. You will be out $15-20 and the time you spent messing with it. Drop the $40-50 and just be done with it.

you bought this device because what? it was cheapest? and now spending so many hours and energy to solve all those engineering errors which is result of bad hardware design. The solution to this problem is to get red of this laptop and get yourself a MacBook Pro/Air. All the problems will go way at once. You will thank me as long as you live. I guarantee.

Hello,Power off and then power back on, when booting press f1 and will take you too bios setting you can change password there and then save and exit.

Hit F8 during the boot process to bring up special boot features like Safe Mode. With Windows 8 you can open a search bar and type "Startup". Select Change Advanced Startup Settings". Select Safe Mode. Reboot.

The WiFi driver can be downloaded from the manufacturer's website in the support area: Lenovo Support Drivers Software US Select your model for the list of drivers. Download and install.
