Suspect the bulb has gone out on my fireplace logs .

Yes - bubs are 120vac with a small base - not the standard light bulb type - more like the larger outdoor Christmas lights. There are 3 bulbs required. I'd consider going with the compact flourescent - they give off less heat.

Gas fireplace pilot flame won't stay lit.

Hi , you can try and pull the panel on the bottom of fireplace out and check the adapter in fireplace. Sometimes they go bad. When you open in also check to see if there is an adapter plugged in and a option to use the battery operated function. If this goes bad the pilot will not stay lit.

Black sot from vent free gas fireplace

Thanks for your question,
your problem is either impingement on your log set, or a product of incomplete combustion, if you notice soot on your logs, then you will need to take them out, clean them, and reinstall them as to not have the flame touching them, you will need to clean the burners as well, make sure nothing is laying across the burners, as this too will cause sooting, as far as incomplete combustion, was this model a natural gas converted to propane or the other way around ? if so who ever converted it, did they adjust the gas valve according to specs? improper adjustment will cause sooting or hooking up a natural gas unit to propane will do this too, I will recommend using (Rutland White Off) to remove any soot from your glass, it works fantastic for this ! any ace hardware will carry it, please do not use windex or any other cleaner on the glass as it will more than likely leave a rainbow affect on your glass once the glass heats up, hope this was helpful to ya, please rate this solution, thanks agai

Make sure that none of the elements are touching each other. Also look for signs of a grounded wire or damage to the heating elements.

Flame on my electric Pyromaster is standing still is there a bulb

basically, on the bottom of the fireplace, there are 2 screws on the sides, 3 on the back, take them off, lift bottom (it wont come off, so be careful not to bend it) there are 3 christmas light type bulbs, you can find them at any hardware store. Just replace them. Problem solved.

If the flame is standing still, i assume the motor is burnt out. or the belt is off.

My Heater stopped working on my HEF33 Electric fireplace

We have had this same problem with our heater. But I went online to find out where I could purchase replacement parts. The company that sold the fireplace went out of business. I also went on-line to try and fine a universal replacement part. So far no help to be found.

Gas fireplace question

Simulated gas log fireplaces usually don't have a blower of any type. They depend on the radiant and conducted heat much like there was a real wood fire in the firebox. Look in the manual to determine if a blower was included, but I doubt it because of risk that CO would be propelled into the living space.

Marco gas fireplace shuts off

This an easy fix. What you must do is remove the dust from the pilot safety. I use rust buster from ace hardware to gently flush the hole. If ther is no hole just shoot a tiny drop or 2 into the pilot burner where the flame comes out. Blow it out (I use a piece of tubing). The problem is the dust drops the pilot flame to a point where it won't heat the thermocouple hot enough to jold the magnet and after 30 minutes she quits. THIS is a picture of where to clean the ODS pilots in your rig. If you need further help, reach me via phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/dan_73bbd84fe1d95b61
