Electric fireplace just blows out cold air
It would seem to me that the Thermal fuse has "Blown" this is an internal protection device that operate from heat... they often fail spontaneously, when this happens oftem all else works but no heat.
You will have to take it to a reputable repair shop/man and get a firm "Quote" for repair.

My heat n glow fireplace comes on fine with all
You may have a few sensors, one may be a thermopile that energizes the pilot. It is a very thin but long bulb located in the pilot flame. Then you may have something called a thermopile which is also located in the pilot flame that energizes the main gas valve. It is a larger diameter bulb and will have metal wrapped wireg going to the gas valve. If the pilot stays on but the flame goes out under the logs, change your thermopile and look for a bad connection at the gas valve or switch. If both the main burner and the pilot goes out you may have a gas valve problem or a plugged vent pipe. If the flame just disappears it is most likely a gas valve. If the flame changes colors and lifts from the burner, that is a sign of a plugged vent. Good luck.

Pilot light keeps going out,,,thermal couple?
Yep! Find the gas valve and trace the copper line going in to the pilot area. You will need to remove the logs as well as a dab of silicon where the line goes into the pilot assembly. Once you get to the probe end of the thermocouple, there is a friction clip holding it in the holder. You can attempt to unscrew it or you could give it a quick yank down. Take it with you when you get another one. If you need to, you can get a longer one and tuck the extra inside. Silicon the hole back shut after installation.

Dont know how to start it
Some units sometimes have a wall switch that has to be turned on.
Usually on the bottom of the fireplace bheind the grille is the control
box a switch to turn on the electric heat and another to control the
electric heat and a possible blower.
Check to make sure the breaker is not turn off.

I have a Marco Natural Gas Direct Vent Fireplace
The only thing a fireplace like your has that could be faulty is the thermocouple or safety switch on the gas valve.
A thermocouple is a likely suspect. Look in your manual for a part number and buy a replacement. Cleaning the old one might work too if it is heavily coated with carbon.

Electric fireplace does not heat
I have a cheap electric fireplace bought in SuperCentre store-heater no longer works. It says its a one piece system. Can these heaters be replaced or repaired(probably made in China) or am i better off scrapping it and buying a new one?

Charmglow electric fireplace flame does not
You will have to connect a 12v dc power supply to the flame motor. The controller on the board has fried. I built a regulated 12 v dc power supply and tapped it into the bulb circuit so it will power the motor when the bulbs come on. You may have to find an electrician or techie to rig this up safely.Good luck!

Hi i have a small
I do have one place online you can use. Others have had good results from it. I have used it.
- It is Servicemagic.com (click this link to go to there fireplace repair search).
- Home Depot sell Charmglow Electric Fireplace. They would be able to give you a number for the company or even the companies service provider.
Follow the Servicemagic questions on that link and they will set you up with someone. They are usually pretty quick.
If I had more information: your location, model # I might be able to give you more options or answers.
Thank you for the chance to help.
