I have a 2007 Honda Civic 2 door bought the car
1. Stop going to this shop.
A fuse that keeps blowing is a sign of a problem. You never replace a fuse with one of a higher amperage because the idea is the fuse is suppose to blow before the the wires melt and catch on fire. The reason it stopped working and the fuse didn't blow is probably be cause the wire did melt someplace and you are lucky the car didn't burn. If it did burn and the insurance company found the 40 amp fuse, they would probably have refused to pay.
The idea that a repair shop would do this tells me that they don't know what they are doing. Read this

How to wire 2 ohm
You can look it up online but i believe you hookup the negative of one sub to the amp and the positive of the other......with the other negative and positive on the subs run a jumper wire to connect the two......
No power going to amp
Hi there! Try to check the fuse from the amp. and the remote must have 12v power. There are 3 wires to hook up [+, remote and -] . That is the only way the amp could have power other than broken.. Good Luck...
My 2000 watts legecy amp is not working whats wrong with it?
HelloPower light doesn't come ON, means there is no power enters inside the circuits. There will be an over current protection fuse, inside the amp, meant to blow up, if any short circuit occur inside the circuit board of the amp, or at outside speaker connection. You should locate this fuse and check it. it will be a glass cartridge type, slided into a fuse holder. You can detach it from its holder by a hard pull out. Just locate it, detach it from the fuse holder, and check it with a multimeter, set in Ohms range. The meter should show continuity. If there is no continuity, means the fuse is blown up. Before replacing the fuse, you have to check the reason for its failure. Without rectifying the reason, if you insert an other fuse and switch ON the set, the inserted new fuse also will blow up. Sometimes, it may cause to further component damage too.So check the circuit for any short. You must have thorough knowledge in electronics and all tools to do the work. If you are not aware in electronics, get this set repaired by any experienced service technician. OK.
I have an car Amp.
what happened when you tried the correct size fuse after the larger one?
Protect light is on ,no
Make sure you have a good ground connection. The ground wire should be solidly connected to the vehicle chassis in a paint-free location. If the ground is connected badly, the protect light will come on.
Crainemy la690 amp is mounted
You need to look at your wiring of the speakers and the Ohm rating on your speakers.
Below are the specs of the amp. You have the Tri-Way amp and the switch that controls
which way it configures it's output is critical. If you are powering just 2 speakers you set the
the Tri-Way to bridge only. Problem is, I cant find a manual.

What size fuse do I need on the power cord from
It depends on the size of the amp. The best route to take is to purchase an amp installation that includes the power and ground cables, RCAs,remote turn on wire and...fuse holder with fuse. You choose the amp kit base upon wattage ofthe amp and they come in 0,4 and 8 gauge sizes.
How many ohms?
Most car amps can handle 4 ohms....Some you can bridge down to 2....Google your model number if in doubt....
My amp keeps going off on protection mode as soon
check powers and earth, unplug sub and crank it up see if it still goes into protect if it doesnt the sub is too much load for that amp and could have damaged the amp, if it still does it then its a fault in the amp or power problem make sure you have good thickness 4gauge and good earth
