Perhaps you try to find out in the shop you bought this? Would not be wise to give any code here, because it is not sure a parent or a child is asking this.

You could just reset to factory settings if your stuck on password!

You can bypass the Parent Lock code on the LeapPad Ultra with this combination: 1 9 6 <backspace> 8 7 Them go to the Parent Settings menu and reset your code by tapping "Reset Lock"

Look at the goodwill for a used 1 that works

I put in a new set of batteries and the data synced/downloaded to scout.

Try cleaning the stylus, the cartridges and the port with a little rubbing alcohol. Use a Q-tip.

On the back there is a big silver screw. Open it and the back comes off. The batteries go there be sure you get the right ones. I believe they have to be alkaline.

I just bought qty2 of these speakers for $5.69 total inc s/h/p (only 1 was needed). Delivery time was slow, but well worth the wait... When the replacement speakers arrived, I had to take off the back panel screws and unsolder the original speaker, so I could resolder in the single replacement speaker under the 2" black cover. The "Learn & Groove" Musical Table speaker now works great! Some forum posts say that resoldering a computer modem speaker (16ohm .25w) could be used, but this is a temporary solution at best. The replacement speaker from Hong Kong produces a better quality sound and more sound volume when used with the "Learn & Groove" Musical Table. The speaker replacement specs for the LeapFrog "Learn & Groove" Musical Table with Green Legs are as follows: "Round Aluminum Shell Magnetic Type Slim Speaker Horn" .25 watt Resistance 16 Ohm Type Internal Magnetic, Slim Shape Round Bottom Diameter 20mm/ 0.8" Outer Diameter 35mm/ 1.4" Height 9mm/ 0.35" Material Aluminum, Metal, Plastic This replacement speaker worked great for me and now my Granddaughter can again enjoy her toy that I was able to fix!

that is a very easy solution just let it go and use somthing different untill you can get another one or look in a pawn or goodwill shop.

The Li-on battery is discharged too far. Contact leapfrog and see if they can repair it.

My experience is that after charging for some tens of minutes it will start. But I seem to be unable to charge the battery enough to have it work for long.

What parental settings are you looking to change? Try connecting your device to your computer and download updates for your leap pad. There may be a portion of your default drivers that was not originally downloaded properly.
