To open the battery compartments firmly press down on the arrows with your thumbs and push it out. You should feel the cover unlatching as you firmly press down and out.

I have heard if you call their customer support, they will ask you to send a picture of the broken unit and will send a replacement free of charge. I am attempting this myself, as our daughters was accidentally crushed in the car today. Their customer support phone number is 1-866-334-5327.

we had the same thing happen. Call Leap tech support they will replace. Their tech support is not great and not in on the weekends. But they will replace it.

You might want to uninstall what you put on there and try again to run it. it,if that don't work call the company.

No parts are available but you might try to use some Crazy Glue to repair the crack, or just buy a new one.

It can run off of batteries alone, or the ac adapter alone. There is a rechargeable battery pack (think laptop battery) that is available. With this pack you would plug it in to the wall, charge it up, then play. Otherwise it's one or the other

Plug it harder and it charges your datuers leapstergs.
