Brand new leapster no picture has sound but display is blank
Calling LeapFrog right now for the same problem.
First, they suggested cleaning the battery contacts.
Now they're stepping us through recalibrating the screen.
Now they're asking where and when we purchased it.
Answer - take it back to the store.
Leapfrog gave us the only solution to return and get a new one since we did have the receipt.

Leapster can't read input
You need calibration
Touch Screen Calibration is as:
1.) Ensure that a cartridge is NOT inserted.
2.) Hold down the Hint (’?') button while turning the unit on.
3.) When the LEAPSTER menu screen appears, press the ‘A’ button.
4.) Touch each of the crosshairs that appear with the stylus.
5.) Restart the unit.

The tip broke off our pen
If in the US,
Call their Consumer Services number at:
1-800-701-5327
They will be able to help you get a new one.

Cannot change user names
You can only delete users (you can not rename them).
To delete a user, press and hold these buttons in order while you are on the user select screen.
Home, A, and right direction. An X will show at the bottom of the screen. Press this X and follow the on-screen direction.
