Hi and welcome to the site,
A most likely possibility is that the memory is full. Two ways to go about it:
- move the pictures from the camera's memory to a computer;
- delete the contents / format the memory (if pictures no longer needed).
Both of the above are described in details with illustrations in the User's Manual available
here.
Good luck and thank you for asking.
Can't view or download photos on my new comperter
You don't need any.
The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.
Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive.
It won't take the disk i have a new dell vista
This camera has no driver developed for windows Vista ..all the drivers available included the one from the disk is compatible with windows Xp maximum ..So ..either look for a solution with a payed driver fixer..to get a universal one ...or ..try a few Photo managers and see if you will be able to import from device with one of them ..I would try with ACDsee 9 ...but ..with no driver this have all chances to not be working either ..so ..the solution is to use it to download in a windows XP computer ..until a driver will be available for it ..
I said to try with the picture manager ..(also try with windows movie maker cause it has a import from device feature) cause there is a possibility that for vista the driver to be built in and not be needed..
Another thing ..usually when drivers are not available on the manufacturer(in this case the manufacturer site do not exist anymore) and if the driver is not needed for advanced operation system ..the camera will be seen into the My computer folder like a removable device ..if it has a card inserted..or by its name ..
If it has a slot for a card ..than the option in case it is not see at all is to get a card reader and store the pictures on the card and download them using the card reader(copy /paste)
Driver
yeah, because you gtta plug tha camera into the comp drive.
After downloading the driver for mega +2 it says
Most digital cameras do not need drivers. Windows will treat them like another drive like a USB drive. Try not installing the driver and just looking to see if it appears as another drive letter in "My Computer".
If I take a photo I can't get it to come up on my
May I suggest you take your camera and card to a photo store, to see if they can access the photo's. Maybe even make copies for you.
This is probably the easiest way to ascertain whether there's a problem with your camera or card.
Largan chameleon xp software doesn't work ( mr
1) XP should recognise you camera as a new hard drive or mass storage device. Plug it in, click on my computer and see if there's a new device there.
If so double click on the device, cut or copy and paste pictures to your computer.
2) Get a universal card reader, plug you camera card into that and the reader into your PC. Again your looking for a new device in my computer.
3) Uninstall and re-install the software.
