Can't down load pic to computer it says camera
Might be a problem with your cord...or maybe you are using the wrong cord to download. Make sure you have the cord you received with the camera. Plug in the cord to the computer. Restart your computer. Then (with your camera turned off) plug in the cord to the camera. Start the camera and see if it connects.
I had to remove all files from my computer last
http://www.mediafire.com/file/jtfcb0zoeiiuctx/chameleon_mega.exeI think this is the driver you are looking for ..but I have to warn you that will only work as up to windows XP ..This model of camera do not have a driver for vista and windows 7
If into the original cd you had more software than just the driver ..you can use a photo manager instead ..The driver will assure only the communication ...between the camera and the p c..
to download pictures ..just install the driver and the pictures folder will be available in the my computer folder after restarting and connecting the camera ..
How to delete the pictures on my chameleon xp
Like an external hard-drive, when you either plug in your camera or insert the memory card into your computer, it will show up as a hard-drive or external device. if you go to 'my computer' in windows, or on the desktop in mac, you will be able to see the icon that represents said device. open the folder representing the device and navigate through the file until you find the directory where your photos are stored. usually it says 'dcim' or something like that. once you locate your photos, simply delete the ones you want to get rid of and copy/or cut and paste the ones you want to keep. from there you can free up some room or completely wipe out your storage for your camera. Bam, spagettios.
Can not download photo systen said camera is
Try NOT connecting your camera to your computer.
The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.
Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program.
