You have a bad connection or break in the wiring. Fix that and your monitor will work properly. Could be the wire itself or the plug you use to plug into.

MO+BO= Mother Board

I resolve this problem this way.
In first about source of the problem - the solder in some contact destroy during some time (2-2.5 year) through temperature conditions. In result lost contact and award as a bright white line (some minutes and good bye, tube!).
I second - how I decide problem.

You see problem areas inside red circle.
I don't open the monitor (this is very difficult), but it age about 4 year and it out of guarantee.
I hack the bottom of the monitor -

and solder this contacts again. (This photo show back side of monitor)
After I try restore hole's edges...
Now my monitor shows without problems!

well that sound you head, sound like some parts overloading in on the power supply card. and I really think, they do not provide repair for that unit any more......
I guess the real encouragement, you get to buy some new great displays..
