How do i change the
There is no way to change the date manualy on the watch. It is done by radio waves. Please read below.. If you need the manual go to the link below.
The atomic watch's internal computer processes the
received time signals and automatically synchronizes
the hands, date and the change over between daylight
saving time and standard time as well as the leap year
accordingly. The signal reception and synchronization
occur automatically every night and manually upon
demand.

Watch wont reset itself .
I don't know what the problem is but the most common problem is a poor reception area. Yep, just like your tv used to have problems picking up that distant signal, so can your watch. The solution is the same for both problems. Get your watch into a better reception area. The signal is a relatively weak AM radio signal coming from Colorado Springs, Colorado. Find the least obstructed spot you can to place your watch, for example, if you live in Seattle, place the watch in a east facing window that doesn't have a building or mountain or some obstruction the radio waves will have trouble with and turm on the function in your watch that searches for the signal or if you don't know how to do that, leave it in the window over night. Other things like cloud cover and meteorlogical events can also affect the signal strength.
Alas, you may also have a watch problem for which I have no idea. Good luck, Michael, Watchmaker to the Stars!

Hi my xg-55 froze up,
You will need to take this watch in to a local Certified Master Horologist. It will have to be opened and reset from the inside by shorting the appropriate contacts on the movement. It may also require a battery to operate properly, if it has not been replaced in the past 1-2 years.
If you wear this watch in the water, you need to have it pressure tested to ensure its resistance after the procedure. This is properly done with a pressure testing machine that usually is found at Horologist / Watchmaker shops only.
