How do you change battery

The back does not come off (case is in one piece); it's the bezel -- the metal rim that holds the front glass crystal.

There is a small notch in the rim of the bezel (on mine, this aligned with the 'lower left' lug on the case around 7:00 on the face). Be careful as there is an O-ring to waterproof the watch, and this notch goes right into the groove where that O-ring is located. Use a case knife or similar stiff but fairly thin-edge blade to pop the bezel off (it snaps off). Then gently remove the outer plastic ring, noting carefully how the notches are aligned.

The inner module now can be lifted carefully out - the two 'pushers' will not fall out of the case when you do this. The battery is a 3V lithium CR2025, and you will need a fairly small straight-blade jeweler's or optician's style screwdriver to remove the one screw that holds down the battery bracket - it may be tempting to bend this out of the way to change the battery, but please resist that temptation...

Put the module back in the base, put the ring back over the dial plate, and carefully snap the bezel back in place with its notch aligned as you found it. You might want to check and/or lubricate the O-ring as you do this.

Instructions for initializing the movement are printed inside the case: they list the switch for the 'recessed' button as A, and the pusher as B. In case you didn't note them before closing the case: to reset:

1) push A once. (Display will read "SET"
2) Push A until hands are exactly on 12:00 (and display reads "12"
3) Push B once to start reception

You then follow the standard procedure of putting the watch in a window facing Fort Collins, Colorado, until it picks up the time signal and synchronizes itself.

If you need more assistance with the physical module, there is contact information on it from its manufacturer:

Model number on my module is AR600 WWVB (37.5mm)

Mine does the same thing. I contacted the manufacturer and they told me there's nothing I can do to fix it. They suggested I return it if it's under warranty (which it isn't). With no warranty they said there is no way to repair it.

Watch did not adjust to

That means it is set to the wrong time zone... You need to go into the settings and adjust the time zone so that it does adjust with daylight savings.

Do you know how to do this on the watch, or is there no option? Is this the La Crosse Technology E. Howard Ambassador Radio Controlled Watch?

Thanks, let me know if you have any questions or concerns, just reply to my answer here and I will be right back with you.

I have the wall clock

The clock must be perfectly level - check that with a spirit level. If you don't have one then a wire with a weight attached should do.
When you swing the pendulum for the first time try to swing it at it's normal movement angle, if it's too high or too low the mechanism will not be able to sync with the quartz and the clock will not work.

Installed new battery; watch pulses but am unable

La Crosse has quite a number of models for wrist watches. Normally the watches are meant to adjust their time themselves. Although this differs from units to unit. Find below a link to the different ways to set the date and time for your watch:

hope this solution is helpful?

Unable to set watch after new battery

This watch sets itself to WWV as this tech from FixYa has previously explained:
http://www.fixya.com/support/t430634-set_lacrosse_wt_961_b_watch
This is a neat watch. Here's a review explanation of it from Amazon.com:
Amazon.com Review With an advanced time-telling mechanism that manages itself, this La Crosse Technology metal watch keeps time with absolute accuracy. Equipped with an internal antenna, the watch reads a radio signal transmitted from WWVB in Fort Collins, Colorado. The station, in turn, receives its signal from the National Institute of Science and Technology's atomic clock, which is accurate to the 10 billionth of a second. Transmission is continual and automatic, so the watch readjusts itself, even allowing for shifts due to Daylight Savings. It also displays the day of the week, the date, and the month. Customizable settings allow you to set your time zone and choose between a 12- or 24-hour display. Water-resistant, the watch comes with a metallic blue butterfly clasp and stainless-steel band that can be adjusted to fit most wrists. The battery should last three years or more--a low-battery indicator signals when to change it. Please note: The watch receives the WWVB signal in time zones GMT-4 (Maine) through GMT -10 (Hawaii) only. --Emily Bedard Product Description This watch is set by the US Government Atomic Clock, meaning it will continually have the most accurate time. This watch also will change time automatically during Daylight Saving Time. Excuse the stuck font, but this is a neat piece of technology! Enjoy!

My E. Howard & Co

Yes the battery needs to be replaced. The battery should be replaced by trained personnel to avoid damage and to maintain the water resistance according to factory specifications. After battery replacement the hands of your atomic watch must be repositioned to 12 o’clock. The hands can be advanced either incrementally by repeatedly pressing the T2 button or rapidly by holding the T2 button. Pressing the T2 button briefly advances the minutes, holding the button down lets the minute hand move continuously until the T2 button is released. (The minute is also shown in the LCD helping you to set the correct time.) Your watch now uses its integrated quartz movement. Please note in this mode your watch cannot display the date. The time you have set is retained until your watch is able to receive the signal from the WWVB transmitter again. The date will then also be set and displayed in the LCD again. After your atomic watch automatically receives the WWVB signal the watch will be set to Pacific standard time. You must then either press the T1 button to confirm the time or set the desired time zone. ---------------- La Crosse Technology, Ltd provides a 10-year limited warranty on the movement of this product against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. All other components of the watch including the lens and strap are warranted for 1-year against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. Lacrosse xg 55 - Do I need to replace the battery?

Take your watch to your nearest watch shop and ask them to do it for you.

You can get into difficulty replacing batteries and it is not worth the risk for
the small cost saving in doing it yourself.

What is the max mA battery rating that can charged by the Bc700?

Divide the mA of the battery by the mA you want to charge it at.For example,I'll use the 3000mA battery at a 500mA charge. That would be 6 hours. However, that only actually charges it to 80%(for alkaline). It needs another 6 hours to charge the remaining 20%.If they are not alkaline let me know and I will look and see what I can find out.
Good luck!
