Either the throttle trim on your radio is set too high and it is not closing the carburetor to the idle position or it is closing all the way but your idle adjustment screw is holding the carb open too much. They only need to be open just a sliver. If that still doesn't solve it your low speed needle is set to lean. Find the factory needle settings for the engine and reset the needles the those positions.

for best run time you should run a 14.8v 4s lipo at 5000mah and around 30 to 40c. it will be very fast and give you excellent run time.

you either need to calibrate your hand controller to your esc or if your hand controller batteries are flat you will have no forward reverse
