12 volt battery should be 12-13.2 volts dc normal and 14.5-14.8 vdc at rpms if you only get 8.5 vdc then the charge system ( alternator /stator)is not working or the voltage regulator needs replacing

Check the gas tank's vent. If it's clogged or dirty it will vapor lock when warm

check the pickup coil and the wiring for the shut off switches. if one rubs and grounds itself on the frame it wont spark.

How many kilometers has it done? Either one of these is the culprit; battery, spark plug, ignition coil, or CDI. CDI normally seems to go around 25000-30000kms.

Yes a new piston and a rebore of the cylinder if that is the problem. You will need to tear it down to inspect what caused the problem.

back firing is usually a sign of an air leak on the intake manifold.

Use a numbered drill set, measure the jet size using the drill bit set, then select a drill bit two numbered sizes larger and drill out the main jet, that should get you in the ball park. Some scooters seat latches operate with the ignition key switch.
Turn it left and right as you lift the seat.
Sometime you have to push down on the seat while you turn the key
Some have a key right on the left side of the bike for the seat latch.

If you have no key, you can pull off the rear rack and then take off the plastics above the tail light.
Once that plastic is off you can reach the latch with a screwdriver or needle nose pliers.

Actually it looks interesting, however one reviewer said its not Chinese but Taiwanese. That is the part of China that has separated itself. As far as I am concerned the machine is still of a chinese extraction and seeing as many yamaha parts come from Taiwan. I shall have to dig deeper!

A clicking starter solenoid is usually caused by a discharged or defective battery. I would charge the battery and check the connections. The battery voltage should remain above 10 volts WHILE CRANKING.

Hi tighten the axle nuts ...if this does not help loosen axle nuts jack it up tighten nuts & when on the ground tighten them again, cheers

anything that has a plastic fuel tank in it is a common problem 4 leaks !! I've had brand new chainsaws , tractors, and yep even bikes come in here with fuel drips !! its them plastic fuel tanks everytime !! they jjust cant take the chassis flex the ole metal ones could (but then again ive never seen plastic rustout either ) and they get small cracks in them right where they attach to frame most times too !!

if the center electrode is burning away, it indicates that the mixture is too lean at high rpms or load check adjust float level , clean out main jet or fit correct jet size if 2 stroke check for leaking crankshaft seals change the heat range of the plug to as cold as possible

Hello P Smurf, Well... don't feel bad...!! The KIMCO drawing is TRASH (in my humble opinion). Just start the engine! - ignition switch on (powers on CDI module) - short B+ 12V to "S" lead (small terminal on solenoid switch = cranking motor (until it starts (or within reason... do not burn out starter)). Really... you can short BATTERY to the starter solenoid... as long as you have the ignition on... It SHOULD RUN (if it can). You only have the REAL two issues you need to start... Fire & fuel... (everything else is mere confusion). IGNORE IT ALL... until you get the engine started...!! I've been reading schematics, circuit drawings, operational diagrams... All of it for more than my adult life... (mere seconds away from 70) amateur radio, patent holder & highly skilled professional... (into full spectrum optics).... I pulled up the appropriate Kymco "drawing"... and while I'll say it is very pretty (colorful) it is also TOTALLY USELESS...!! (top reference below... avoid it!). Whom-so-ever (clown who posted it) that put it together didn't (still doesn't) know their posterior from 75 cents (six bits). I can't even tell if the generator & starter are one-in-the-same (which would be the first place you want to go... Useable VERSION immediately below... I'm just saying Comment me back... every tractor & tiller in the world has the same starter circuit (some just have points & coils in lieu of CDI Modules). I'll be here!!

You probably need a new clutch. That can explain why it bogs. The smoke I don't know.
