Hi, Anonymous before testing any electrical component in the Starting System it is "IMPERATIVE" that you have a fully charged battery of 12.5 volts or more and be able to pass a proper "LOAD" test if necessary, you may have a preliminary reading of 12.5 volts or more but little or zero amperage, the battery is faulty and must be replaced. AGM type batteries fall into this scenario more so than lead acid batteries.
1. Ignition Switch not in the "ON" position.
2. Engine Run Switch in the "OFF" position.
3. Check the battery terminals for damage or corrosion check the battery cables at "BOTH" ends for loose, corroded, or broken connectors, "INSIDE" and outside the cable harness, perform connector wiggle test and check cables with an ohmmeter.
4. Bank angle sensor needs a reset or is faulty.
5. FOB battery low or dead.
6. Faulty ignition switch.
7. Faulty starter button.
8. Faulty kickstand, clutch, neutral safety switch.
9. Security alarm needs a reset.
10. Starter relay, solenoid, starter motor or circuit wiring faulty.
11. Starter armature or field coils have failed.
12. Main fuse or circuit breaker may be blown or faulty.
13. Faulty ignition relay.
14. The electric starter is working but starter clutch has failed.
15. Check for engine trouble codes.

Hey Tammy,
I hope you mean carburetor -- Motorcycle carburetors have numerous tiny passages, screws that need to be removed to access some of these tiny passages, jets that need cleaning, etc.
This is NOT a job for a shade tree mechanic.. Any good motorcycle dealership SHOULD have a mechanic that can clean and set your carburetor..regardless of make!!

Hi, Edwin and the usual suspects are:

3. Check battery terminals for damage or corrosion, check the battery cables at "BOTH" ends for loose, corroded, or broken connectors, "INSIDE" and outside the cable harness, perform connector wiggle test and check cables with an ohmmeter if necessary.
4. Loose connection at ignition coil or plug between ignition sensor and module.

How many kilometers has it done? Either one of these is the culprit; battery, spark plug, ignition coil, or CDI. CDI normally seems to go around 25000-30000kms.

hello, there are a few ways to find out the value of your bike/car/4x4 etc but there is a site my parents used which I would recommend. it is free, they require by law just a couple of your details and make/model/year of your vehical plus the reg number and you then get the best quote possible. I would start here and I hope this helps you. https://www.sellbike.com/valuation/

strange but true I had a similar thing after going into my front area, what I had done is put the correctly wired wrong bulb in the indicator and vice versa into the side headlight, not an easy thing to do considering the two are physically separated but that's me, so then my side light was acting as indicator and my indicator was on constantly, in some way could you have done the same thing?

Hi, Drbob585 the answer to this question is way above my pay grade for this situation, I would call or visit my local dealer or reputable shop's service/parts department and inquire about any possible quick fix, answers, or parts inquiry.
