I don't know if this is the best answer, but I would try to slip a heavy credit card between the door and the jam where the knob is. It may be a quick solution for the moment.

Have you released the knobs? They are held on with a small depression thing on the stem of the handle. Press this in and pull on the knob to release it. Try the video it may be of some help but do the opposite to the fitting.

The continuously auto locking was happening for me because the extended deadbolt lock was hitting the back of the drilled frame. So when it locked it did not fully extend and it thought it was not locked and would try again every 30secs.

The fix was to be sure your hole is deep enough for the locked dead bolt to sit into without hitting anything.

Remove it and take it to a locksmith or go get a new one or hire a locksmith to come out to your house they have tools to be able to reset when you have no working keys

It could be that you are trying to add a code again as well. You can not have the same code in say space one that you have in space 5. My Kwikset lock has been working beautifully for several years now, and it is handy to not have to use keys. If you can't figure out the programming, and want to start from scratch, with mine I believe that you remove the battery pack, press in on the program button for ten seconds, and reinsert the battery pack while still holding the program button. That erases all of the stored codes, and you can start over again.None of what you described sounds like a locking issue, but a programming issue.

put the 'dummy key' that came in with it, turn it a 1/4 turn right, put smart key in, pull out smart key. pull out the key and insert the key that you would have as a desired key and turn left 1/4. thats it!!!!!!

The store key maker, door hardware section should be able to help. * I've found it's best to replace the lock set as these combo locks only last about a year in heavy traffic areas. Especially if it's exposed to weather. * Constant opening and closing shakes things up real good. Lots of small wires and plastic parts break all the time. * Key pads wear out fast. You need to insert the key and turn it clockwise, then insert a stiff metal tool like a straightened out heavy paper clip into the hole on the shaft of the lock by the circular flange next to the door. Push it in until you feel it give and pull out on the handle at the same time. If you need more help please contact me.

The shaft for the lock fits in the knob. The lock on the knob might be 90 or 180 degrees out of rotation. Please remove the know and twist the lock 1/4 turn and put it back together. Also you may need to reset the location with a key and when the lock knob is off, turn the lock set with the key, then turn it and replace the knob.
