Krups XP9000 won't recognise water tank is full

I have just had the same problem with my Krups XP7240 and I discovered (quite by accident!) that it was the magnetic float inside the water tank which was causing it. I think the float must have let some water in and always stayed on the bottom even when the tank was full. As the float was in an enclosed plastic column it was a bit hard to access, but through sheer desperation I snapped a plastic fork in half and wedged the handle section under the float to keep it off the bottom and this works nicely. It is not professional by any means but I was quite pleased with my innovation :)

The only down side to this 'method' is that the opposite is now true and when the tank is empty it doesn't register so you would really have to keep an eye on the water level to avoid killing the element completely.

I would imagine that the only professional way to get this sorted out is to replace the tank (or float if it is accessible?). Good luck!!

Krups xp9000 exploded diagram

The logic board is confused by the on/off state of the micro switcheson the cam wheel on the motor assembly. the micro switches are a very ordinary type, the particular part number specifies force details and other particulars not needed, and only the Normally open contacts are actually used. Just choose one from the same size series with the correct size faston tabs for your unit. Some units were made using 1/4" and others using 3/16". Gold contacts are nice, but the units are now over 10 years old and unlikely to last long enough to fail from contact corrosion no matter which is chosen. A thin residue of food safe silicone grease on the cam wheel will keep the switch actuator from wearing down, a more common cause of switch failure than the contact itself. if the cam wheel and switches are all good there's a second problem that appears as the units get old. The motor is powered through Relay 1&2 at the top left of the power board. The relay coil current passes through a pair of contacts on the drip tray tab closes to the plastic extension that operates a micro switch, the other drip tray contact is used to sense liquid. The logic board uses the micro switch to sense drip tray present/absent. The use of 2 contacts on one tab blocks brew unit motor relay drive current when the drip tray is not present .That function is not needed because the logic board senses tray present/absent using the switch and doesn't drive the relays to power the motor if it is absent. When the contacts are slightly dirty, orders of magnitude less resistance than drip tray liquid, the relay drive current becomes insufficient. The contacts can be cleaned on the *under* side of the drip tray and the contact support tray. The contact support tray is retained by tabs at the rear sides. Press them inward to withdraw the contact support tray. The two contacts on the one tab can be interconnected to prevent the superfluous and unreliable interconnect from impairing the relay drive current. Its also possible but less likely that the transformer 15v or 9v AC secondary has failed or the full wave diode bridges formed by D1-D4 and/or D5-D8 have a bad diode, the relay coil turn-off reverse voltage snubber diodes D9 & D10 could have failed, or the zener diode at the the top/left of the board failed. The relays themselves are a very reliable Panasonic type but no longer made, if one has failed there are equivalents available, but these are not the 1st thing to investigate. The Logic board that drives the relays is not available as a replacement part. If the PIC controller output is not driving the relays it would be necessary to download the PIC's ROM and program a replacement before installing it. Most DIY repair people will require professional assistance to do that. The 5 pin diagnostic connector under the plug mark graphically as no-touch is connected to the JTAG scan port that would be used to do that. search google for a Jura series 3 micro schematic for details. All of these super automatic coffee makers are actually made by one, and only one, Swiss company. Different marketing brands select features and customize the styling of the current version of the coffee maker engine. The reviews that compare the resulting coffee and find significant differences are at best examples of "confirmation bias", and at worst influenced by incentives provided by brand that was preferred. That said, the power board and logic board found in the Krups XP9000 is a different shape from that used in any other brand based on the same revision of the main design. The interchangeability of the components is very useful for the components found in the brewing path, of limited use for anything that was customized for Krups like the drip tray and water tank for which other OEMs have slightly different versions that can be adapted by an adept craftsman, and of no use for components totally unique to the Krups XP9000, like the outer case. When an MS-XXXXX p/n is unavailable, look at the parts for other 2007 models. A drip tray with the tabs and switch finger on the left instead of the right or a coffee grinder with un-needed parts for example. A razor saw and glue will alter a drip tray. A grinder with unneeded parts can be simplified.

Krups EA 80 milk frother not working properly.

Question edited for typos and spelling. It is a 'frother' rather than a 'throther'.The roaring is normal, you are releasing steam from a boiler. Steam wand issues are usually caused by cooked milk solids inside the wand. You need a good enzyme cleaner like Rinza. Krups GVX2-12 Electric Burr... Problem:

First, unlock and unscrew the upper burr carrier. Clean and check the upper burr by gently running your finger over the teeth in the cutting direction. It shoild feel moderately sharp. If it feels very blunt, look at the teeth under a good light. If you see a substantial "flat spot" at the top of the teeth, probably the burr set will need replacement.
For the bottom burr, clean carefully its teeth, and the entire area in which it is housed. Include the outlet orofice as well. You may find a lot of oily deposits within here, so just clean them off as best as possible.
When all is clean, insert the top burr holder back in place. Screw it down until both burrs touch, then back it off (say) 1/4 turn, and lock.
Put some beans in the top, and switch on. Adjust the top burr until the desired grind is obtained.
The ground coffee should feel like a coarse sand when close to the desired grind size.

Krups Pro KM7000. How do you fix a dim display on it please?

Dim displays are normally caused by failing, bulging or split capacitors on the back of the display. They regulate voltage to the display. If you are proficient with a soldering iron, you can do it yourself. https://www.google.com/search?q=Krups+Pro+KM7000+dim+display ..

Xp9000 does not in form me that it has run out of beans, any help please , thanks

They only know that the beans is empty when it comes to compressing the grounds into a puck just before brewing. If the brew unit has nothing in the chamber to compress then it assumes you are out of beans.. Remove and thoroughly clean the brew unit and make sure grounds are exiting the grinder when the grinder is running.

Hi we have krups xp9000 where the coffe does not come out anymore, water comes out but not coffe. Coffe comes out in tray and some comes out on table, some adwise how to repair or some ideas, Tore

There are three things it could be, the motor that drives the brewing unit, the brewing unit itself or the pressure relief valve. You need to operate while looking inside with a torch to see what is happening. This is done with the back, the top and the beans side side cover removed for visibility.

My Krups KP 2070 is less than a month old and the

You may have a faulty power module which provides the power to the display module. You can call one of the service centers listed by Krups and they will sell you the power module kit ($50-55) which includes the display control module. I think they also sell the display control module by itself but most likely it is the power module board that failed. Replacing the control module is rather difficult. Ask Krups for a warranty repair but if you decide to do the repair yourself it makes sense to just replace the power board and see if the old display module works.

I own a Krups EA9000 bean to cup coffee machine, it has a water leak through different operations?

When you buy these machines, they don't tell you that they need dealer servicing every 6 to 12 months. You need a brew head service kit which involves replacing all the seals and O-rings. The heat and pressure makes the seals deteriorate and leak. Also, it is not using cleaning solution, you have pipe blockages. They are only about 1/8" internal diameter.

'Automatic maintenance on the screen = ground coffee ejected

All of these automated coffee machines need regular maintenance. When was it professionally services by the dealer? My 6 machines in an airport environment needed service every 4 months. At home, probably every 12 months. Seals need replacing and moving parts cleaned and lubricated. In my opinion these machines are totally unsuited for home use. So many issues show up on this website and all makes, but Saeco are the worst..

Dolce gusto krups infinissima red light

The blinking yellow-green and solid red light on a coffee machine typically indicate an error or problem with the machine. Without more specific information about the make and model of your coffee machine, it is difficult to say for sure what the problem is. However, here are some common issues that can cause a coffee machine to display these lights:

Blinking yellow-green light: This light may indicate that the machine is in a warm-up or preheat mode.

Solid red light: A solid red light can indicate several different problems, depending on the machine's model and brand. Some common causes of a solid red light include a low water level, a clogged or dirty brew head, or an issue with the machine's heating system.

It is recommended to check the user manual for your coffee machine to determine what the specific light sequence means and how to address the issue. If you don't have the manual, you may be able to find a copy online by searching for the make and model of your machine. If you are unable to resolve the problem, you may need to have the machine serviced by a professional.
