I have a Kramer VP729 video/audio switcher stop
The 729 is a pretty old box and only accepts HDMI @ 1080i 1080p. 720i 720p 480i and 480p
Because the 729 is HDMI compliant, and HDCP compliant, you cannot display an HDMI signal on a computer monitor which will not display a content protected source.
Connect your source directly to the display, if that’s ok then try through the switcher.
Check for the latest firmware from Kramer,
You can always call their tech support team.
Does a VP-719xl support hdmi signal thru the DVI
in theory yes as it should have a dvi digital interface. so with the right hdmi to dvi cable the 719xl should work as you require. resolutions of 1600 x 1024 should be possible.
