Some Koss players are locked to only one region/zone so this might not work. Try this.

1. Turn on the player (without a disc inserted)
2. Press MENU
3. Press 1, 6, 7, 1, 9
4. A menu should pop up
5. Press OK
6. Press the button for the desired RC (0=code free)
7. Exit menu

WHY DON'Y YOU PUT THEM IN AND FIND OUT

Often it is to do with the kind of sound that is being outputted by the DVD player. If the sound for example is set to produce dolby 5.1 and you don't have a suitable decoder it will be very low. Check the sound settings of both your DVD player and sound system.

The buzzing may be filter capacitors in the power supply or in the output amp of the sub.
