I have a korg n1 and when I turn it on the display screen comes on but no words show up on it I was wondering how to fix it

It sounds like your ROM battery, which the ROM contains and stores the patches for the keyboard, has gone completely dead and your keyboard is dead in the water. However, if you can get a MIDI to USB converter and get the battery changed, then you can reload the patches back onto the keyboard. I have worked on a Korg M1 Workstation and have had to replace the battery(CR2032) and then had to run a program called "MIDI-OX" which also gave me access to the patches needed in order to restore the keyboard to factory patch settings. http://www.midiox.com/ Take a look at this AFTER you have gotten the battery replaced. I will tell you that replacing most batteries is a very intricate job as, the bottom of the keyboard has to be removed, as well as a lot of the internal boards. I had to draw a diagram and mark certain pieces so I would know where they went and in what order they have to be re-attached. My advice is take it to someone who works on electronics unless you want to DIY (not recommended) to get the battery replaced. Hope this helps.

On my Korg X2 workstation, the LCD screen displays INIT I the combination A & B banks, and the program A & B banks. The same sounds is in all of these settings and I can't change it. How do I fix it?

How to Initialize (reset), and preload on the Korg X2/X3/X3R Initialization: Hold Page Down and 0 while turning it on Preload: Disk Load (XSD00P) ROM Check: Hold Enter and 7 while turning it on. If banks names are lost, you need to replace the little round coin-pill from inside, which memorize settings while the instrument is off and disconnected from the power.

KOrg X5D is out of tune

Did you try to get to Global mode, and then check if the tune is 440 hz? Check the Global Settings. The tuning might either be altered or the key transposed..

As usual with the korg d3200 the locate buttons

If the buttons are just sticking at their sides in the panel, lube with a tiny bit of CRC 226 on a Q tip. Get the CRC226 at Home Depot in the electrical dept. If the button mechanisms have failed or plastic hinges have broken then replacement is only option. Losing 4 of these to same problem is RIDICULOUS... time to change brands.

My korg m50 audio output R-L MONO VOLUME OUT IS TOO LOW

Might be a case of opening up the M50 as the previous poster did and wiggle connectors and components until the sound is affected. If you have some electronics experience, it should be fairly easy to figure out which board to investigate.

PA3X. Why does it shut off on its own?

Right away or after it's been working awhile? Try coolant spray on power supply components.

I HAVE AN KORG i3 AND NEED REPLACE THE INTERNAL BATTERY BUT I DONT WHERE IS

You will need to open up the keyboard. Make sure it is unplugged. Once you take out all the screws that hold the top half with the bottom, separate the two carefully. You will have some wires and ribbons attached to both sides. The battery is on the circuit board, it looks like a quarter. Make sure you replace the same size battery.

While using korg m50 editor using usb data cable there is no sound from my lap.the sound is only from my head phone connected to my keyboard directly?

Are you connecting to the laptop and using it as a midi controller? You can record midi notes from the keyboard and send them to your laptop via USB using any midi sequencer program (reason, logic, etc). Create a midi track, select the input of that track as your keyboard, then hit record to play some midi notes. To hear what you record, you have to set the output of the midi track to whatever midi sounds or instrunents you have installed on your laptop. If you are trying to record the actual audio sound the keyboard makes, use an audio program such as cubase, sonar, audacity, pro-tools, and either mic the keyboard, or connect one of the other audio outputs (1/4" TRS) to an audio input on your DAW, and record an audio track that way (as opposed to a midi track).

How to change a fuse on a korg Sp-250

There is no fuse inside SP250. If the unit can't power ON,there maybe damage to the adapter, adapter cord/connector,or broken fuse inside the adapter. If adapter is in good condition, then the damage is inside SP250. The possibilities are on regulator section. Check all parts in this section (figure 1). Also maybe there is a broken soldering joints at DC input socket. change-fuse-korg-sp-250-fuxmm42irvf2p03kxwfdv02c-3-0.jpg change-fuse-korg-sp-250-fuxmm42irvf2p03kxwfdv02c-3-1.jpgchange-fuse-korg-sp-250-fuxmm42irvf2p03kxwfdv02c-3-3.jpg

Hello, I have a big

After updating the firmware, you likely must do a factory reset. This is probably required so the keyboard will read and decide how much ram actually exists. At this site do the "factory reset" version:
