Looking for konus #2048 binoculars user instruction manual. Everywhere I look says this model is missing.I have the binoculars but not a clue how to make them take pictures
I don't see the manual online. There is a corporate address in Miami.
KONUS USA CORPORATION 7275 NW 87th Ave.
MIAMI FL 33178
tel. +1 305 5925500
fax +1 305 5926255
I gather their warranty consists of replacement rather than repair. These are sophisticated devices yet one business link indicates that at most there are 5 employees at the corporation. If that is so, I am not expecting you to get a lot of feedback from them.
I ran across an advertisement detailing some of the specifications. It seems it came with a CD and cabling which enables it to download pictures to a computer. The software included referred to systems from XP to 2000 and that of course dates these to something prior to Windows 7's advent. As the settings for adjusting its digital camera components are highly likely something only a camera specialist would understand, I expect you almost need a cheat sheet to walk you through its use. A photography forum might have a hobbyist familiar with these but I find no information generally available on the web. I am listing the ad which includes some technical details (but no how to). And listing instructions for another binocular digital camera on the off chance that it shares at least some common procedures and guidance. It is a long shot but it is all I can think of to supply. That said, OpticsPlanet is an official dealer of Konus products and seems to have a chat and how to menu to its site.

I cannot get the konusmotor 500 to see out of
- Get Stellarium or another fine astronomy program
- During the day, point the telescope at a part of the landscape about 100 yards away.
- Use the lowest power eyepiece (highest number) in the focal tube.
- Center the landscape object in the telescope.
- Align the finder scope so that it points exactly where the main telescope is.
- At night, leave the scope out to reach thermal equilibrium (about an hour for small reflectors and refractors)
- If the scope is on a EQ mount, polar align.
- Point the finder at the moon. The moon should be in the main scope also.
- Practice finding the moon before you start on the planets
- Once you are comfortable with the moon and planets, you can go for the deep sky objects

Can't get camera to record on the sd card
There may be no fix for this problem, and there doesn't seem to be a way to get and update the firmware to fix the problem. I bought four of these cameras for a cruise to share with kids and their spouses in our group. The binoculars are great with nice clear viewing and good magnification. Two of them showed 8MB of internal memory, the other two showed 10MB of memory. Unfortunately, that's where the 5-Star rating ends. Pictures on a tripod are passable, hand-held pics are awful -- blurry -- and the color palette way off both ways. The two 10MB cameras would not recognize my 32MB SD card. The two 8MB cameras did recognize the 32MB card but showed only 32MB total usable, not 40MB that I expected. The two 10MB cameras allow a total of, maybe, 20 pics since the SD card is not recognized and each pic is between 400KB and 700KB. No, I wouldn't recommend these to anyone.

I cannot move the adjustment knobs on the windage
Some time the screw is a set screw and needs to be loosened to adjust the valve. Others are adjusted by the screw. Either way you might need a larger driver the break the tension on the screw. Factory set it can be tight.
The reticle on my konus pro 4 x 32 does not move when i adjust it
Are you trying to see the reticule move? Or are you shooting after moving the adj screws??? You won't see the reticule move, It only moves maybe 1/4 inch max both ways, If you have a bolt gun, mount the rifle in a vice or a cardboard box with v's cut in it to hold the rifle, aim at a given target app 100 yards away, then sight down the bore, you should be able to see the target, if not, line up the bore, then adj the scope to it, you will be on paper at 100 yards, Try it.,,,,, also, the cross hairs are mounted in a tube that is adjustable, the wires themselves are fixed.
I am searching for a
Only a dealer that handles this scope will have a manual. This dealer sells Konus scopes:

I don't see anything after
This is a very simple REFRACTOR style telescope. Put the diagonal into the focuser. Then put the eyepiece with the largest number written on it into the diagonal. DO NOT USE the 2x barlow if you have one. Practice focusing on a distant object during the day time like a building off in the distance.
What size is the battery
Every red dot finder uses a different size battery. If you do not have the old one call Optics Planet, they sell these scopes. Usually they take a small watch style battery.
