X300 and x700 no power
These use two of the L44 common button battery. The + sides of the battery (flat) goes towards the body ... the bump goes towards the battery holder. Check the contacts on the body and where the threads (-) contact the body. Not voltage, no work. Assuming you have 4 different batteries, can you check the batteries ? One bad one of two will not allow voltage. I have bought new button batteries that were dead right from the package. Strange two cameras are dead. They have electronic shutters. The LED should light up in the viewfinder when the shutter is slightly pressed.
How do i get the flash off
Most cameras, when set to automatic, will pop up the flash, when the lights are to low. As soon as you switch to a manual setting, with Aperture or shutter priority, the flash should stay where you put it. Down and if should not give any light. So check your settings and don't use Automatic or P(program)
Minolta dynax 500si (help)stays on
Usually this is caused by a failure of the aperture unit in the bottom. There are a bunch of gears and one has a plastic post molded onto it. The post stops the gears from turning when they have returned to the start position after firing a shot. The plastic is too soft and the post wears away, causing the gears to go too far, and jam the unit.
Obviously, due to the age and the fact that Minolta is out of the camera business the part is not longer available
Rewind sound when switched from auto focus to manual focus
Probably a problem with the af/m switch so that even though switching to manual moves the connector out of the way (pulls it into the mount) the af motor continues to run. Remover the bottom and then the front cover and check the switch.
Broken battery door
No. Duct tape will hold the battery but it won't make contact. Without something connecting that end of the battery to the circuitry in the camera, you may as well leave it empty.
How to click picture through sd card
The Konica Minolta Maxxum 5xi QD is a 35mm film camera and does not use an SD card. If you want your photos taken on an SD card, you will need to get a digital SLR.Hope that helps,Bax
Camera will not stay powered up.
This is usually caused by a failure of the stop pin in the shutter/aperture charging unit in the bottom of the camera. The part is no longer available
X370
There are adapters available to fit the old Minolta manual-focus lenses on Sony alpha-series dSLRs as well as Sony NEX-series interchangeable lens cameras. The lenses obviously will not autofocus and, depending on the lens and camera body, you may lose some or all exposure metering capability.
