How to unlock the memory card
I think you have an SD card, there is a little tab on the side that locks it on or off, see pic, you just need to move this up or down to be in the correct position
I have had my camera for 3 years but never had
The camera takes SD cards up to 2GB (not SDHC cards). If you've been taking pictures using the camera's internal memory, you must first get rid of those pics. With no card in the camera, go into the menu and find "format" and follow the on-screen instructions. Then, insert your new card and go through the "format" routine again to prepare the new card.

My music does not go
Easiest way to find a driver is to go online and type "Konaki MP4-NS driver" in your search engine. You should find dozens of websites offering free downloads for the drivers for that player.
Need help on downloading music and others things
When your device is connected, go to my computer if you are using a pc, then you should see a drive listed with your device on it. Double click to open up the folder. You should now see your mp3 folder. Leave this window open. Now take and open up your music folder and drag the songs from the music folder over to the drive folder with your device on it.
If your device is not being detected, then you will need to download the latest drivers which can be downloaded from the manufacture's website and are more up to date then the driver cd.
Hello there,
I want to
Work through your menu looking for USB settings or
MTP/ MSC mode. Firstly, I will try to explain MSC mode and MTP mode and what they mean.
MSC stands for Mass Storage Class. When your player is in this mode, the computer will see it the same way it would see a Thumb drive or flash drive, as a removable disk. It will assign the first available drive letter to your device, as well as one for the memory card (if it uses one and it is installed). This is probably the more popular of the 2 modes, and is a more "open source" type of standard. Most computers detect the player in this mode without a problem very well and right away. MTP stands forMedia Transfer Protocol. It is a Microsoft standard and is Microsoft's solution to connecting MP3 players and cameras to a w*ndow based Computer. MTP mode must be used in order to transfer ANY Digital Rights Management (DRM) protected content. MP3's downloaded form services like Rhapsody and Napster will only function in this MTP mode.
Most good MP3 players will have both of these modes at the users options.
Although not all do, so it is a good idea to check yours for these settings if you are having connection problems, if your has these settings try the MSC mode that should do the trick. Konaki DV7-z camera says card is locked. How do I
SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card. If the switch is already in the proper position, slide it fully the other way and then back again.

SONGS
Music will only play if they are in the correct format (MP3) . Are you using Itunes? or similar, if not and you are simply taking songs from a CD or your PC library they are not MP3 bfiles ut audio files instead they will not play. Software like Itunes converts songs into MP3.
