1. 1. Easy to set up and take down 2. Folds really tight for travel...great for travel! 3. Bassinett feature is great for naps, or for baby staying in the room with you during the 1st few months. 4. Sound and light attachment are great...has lullabies or nature music 5. Mobile is cute, but just a decoration it doesn't spin on it's own, your baby may like to stare at it, or may not 6. Attachment for diapers, wipes, etc, comes in handy

I need help taking this cover off so that I can wash it , please help.

Doesn't look like your model was recalled, but you could always contact the manufacturer to confirm since the baby's safety is your priority. The Kolcraft Tender Vibes and Light Vibes bassinets have locking latches which may fail and cause the bassinets to fall, possibly injuring a child inside. The CPSC and Kolcraft have received seven reports of latches detaching from the bassinet frame. In one of those incidents, one infant received a bruised cheek when the bassinet fell from its metal frame and landed sideways on the floor with the infant inside. Consumer Reports experts note in our buying guide to bassinets that for now, there are no federal guidelines for those pieces of infant furniture other than safety standards for such items as small parts and rough edges. Hello New Grandparents. I hope that you were able to resolve your issue before the baby came for a visit. I am not sure about the extra parts without more info or images, but the bars and hooks should have been metal bars that were attached to the inner top bar of the bassinet side rail. After you raise the side, they are free to move to the hooks that are screwed into the hard pressboard bottom. Pic is attached from the manual. You would have to lift the fabric up to see these pieces. Perhaps that was the issue during assembly.

Hi there, I would hand wash it. Sunlight soap is the best and give it a good soak and rub with your hands and the marks should come out. DON'T put it in the washing machine, so many websites say just machine wash but I don't recommend it. I saw someone trying to sell a second hand hood once and it had completely skewed out of shape. They don't take long to wash/ rinse until water clean and squeeze hard and dry in the shade. Don't put any cleaning substances/ upholstery cleaners on it, Sunlight soap is the all time favourite for this sort of thing and gets most marks out. If you don't know what Sunlight soap is then any pure soap or baby friendly detergent/ washing soap would do (any with a picture of a baby on it.

I too have this bassinet and went looking online for a 'how to' on removing to wash. What I found was the manual, I will post the link below. In the manual it does say that the fabric cannot be removed from the canopy frame.

you have to either turn off your pop up blocker for this manual or hold down "control" when clicking the link for it

Put the metal frame on the board - then turn them upside down. The skirt has four slits - where the knobs on the bottom of the board come through - pull the material tautly while snapping on buttons.

It looks like yours has the same wheels as mine which are 12.5 x 1.75/2.25 inch. I went to my local bike shop and bought new tubes for all 3 tires. You might even be able to find them at Toys R Us or Walmart or Target type stores. Hope that helps.Tim

So after you snap off the buttons on it, get a screwdriver and unscrew the two screws on the part that controls the music and vibrations then you need to slide the canopy part off on both sides and then you can take off the fabric to wash

Pull the bottom up by the handle so its not flat. It will look like a teepee. Then straighten sides, they will lock into place. Then flatten the bottom.

Attach bedding

i have the same problem with the seat on mine. i wanna fix it. its only 1 year old and this is kinda rediculous that its ripped this soon

Before you lock the bottom of the playard, you need to pull all the way up on the two side rails, they will form a slight arch, and the button will click into place. Then push down on the bottom rails.
