How do you remove a ring on the bowl of a new Kohler toilet. This is a very hard water area?

The brand of toilet doesn't matter. You need a product that cuts calcium and lime. It may take some soaking and scrubbing. Once you get it clean, use the product regularly. CLR makes a line of products: https://clrbrands.com/en-US/Products/CLR-Household/CLR-Calcium-Lime-Rust-Remover

I have a Kohler spa tub. I want to change the air switch on the top of a Kohler Proflex #1157 motor. I cannot seem to figure out how to get the top of the switch off. I cannot find any screw heads.

I don't know this specific tub, but here's the pictoral. The button (90105) should come out of its base, held by friction of O ring. This should allow you to disconnect the pressure line. If you are looking to replace the complete assembly, likely you will need a basin wrench to reach nut (65157). kohler1-ggmuzyqdnvlyrlfigj0gxfoh-4-0.png Here are links to Kohler, specific to this tub. https://www.us.kohler.com/us/catalog/svg_viewer.jsp?productId=415928&diagram=3 https://www.us.kohler.com/webassets/kpna/catalog/pdf/en/1010564_5.pdf

Kohler Cimarron toilet wont flush completely. The flush is fast, but the bowl won't empty entirely.

Smart-a$$ answer is to find an old 3 gallon pot in a salvage place. Best answer is to fiddle with the chain that goes from the handle to the flush flapper and see if adjusting its length makes a difference. If it's too short it might result in letting the flapper closing too soon and allowing your deposit to remain.

Installed a new Kohler mixing valve and when the other shower is running, water will flow out of the new Kohler shower head.

There's something blocking it sometimes if you turn the water off in your home and turn it back on sometimes calcium from the pipes break loose and cause blockage in new style washerless valve assemblies.

Toilet and Bidet Usage

A bidet may also be a nozzle attached to an existing toilet, or a part of the toilet itself. In this case, its use is restricted to cleaning the **** and ****. Some bidets of this type have two nozzles, the shorter one, called the family nozzle, is used for washing the area around the ****, and the longer one (bidet nozzle) is designed for women to wash their vulva. These bidets are often controlled electronically rather than with a traditional tap, and some have an element under the seat which heats up to dry the user after washing.

Flush valve doesn't stay up long enough

hello,

the reason for this that the toilet valve have loss out from it position for the water to be able to flow out completely

what you need to do from here is that you have to open the water carrier that is behide the toilet sitter the valve will need to be adjusted down a bite from the screw that help in holding the valve for the water to be able to flow out as usual
after this then your flush valve will allow all the water to run out to flush the toilet well

Good luck and thanks for using fixya.

Plunger to fit Kohler bowl

So there is pressure when you push, and suction when you pull. Plungers are more effective when pushing water instead of air because water doesn't compress. ... Thrusting the plunger moves column of water like it was a solid piston and applies the entire force of the thrust against the clog.

I installed brand new Kohler toilet w/ a Fluidmaster float. From the beginning the tank empties just enough to fill back up. I also noticed air bubbles on bolt caps and the rest of the parts.

Check the flapper and seat. Ensure that the flapper chain is not tight or caught underneath flapper. Check floor underneath tank for any sighs of water leaking or seeping from tank. tight tank to bowl nuts. good luck
