Monitor
try checking lcd logic board.
I need a new power cord
you can go to any monitor repair shop & get it.
just tell model no. or take the sample which is defective.
good luck.
Monitor doesn't work
When you got the pc, you should have been given a starter pack with some CD-ROM's in the pack, one of them should be the drives for the monitor, you might need to use anothermonitor to see the instructions, but the basic graphics card should power the monitor enough to set things up, until then you won't be able to adjust the settings.

Drivers
This is a problem with the video drivers not the monitor. I would download the newest drivers for your video card, uninstall the current drivers, then install the new ones.
Kogi l4ax monitor (black screen)
Hi this is the way how to
examine what's wrong with your LCD monitors. After you turned it on and the screen went blank, you
have to check that if you can see the image on the screen or not by shining a flashlight
into the screen, not directly but find the best angle to the screen and take a
look very closely. If you can see the icons or any image, there will be a minor
problem. This is because of the lamps inside screen. Some of them were broken and it is
very easy to replace. If you cannot see anything on the screen, there'll be some
problems with inverter board. You might go get technician to fix it. Hope this help!! If anything I can help you with, feel free let me know.
Thank you,
Tan
Possible_backlight_issue
Hi goldeneye,
Sounds like the backlight inverter board. Don't mind the explaination I just cut and paste this solution from one of my others.
It's a very common problem.
LCD's use four small Cold Compact Fluorescent bulbs to back light the display. (thats what gives the LCD it's brightness allowing you to see it)
The inverter board runs these lights and when they go bad they will typically show symptoms like you have or the monitor power light comes on and you have either no display or a very dim display.
If you ever have one that has no display but the power light is on you can check by shining a flashlight directly into the LCD from the front (right into the screen) if you can see an image then it's either the inverter board (most likely) or the CCFL bulbs have gone bad.
The inverter board and CCFL's are replaceable.
Good Luck,

Grey screen
First, you need to eliminate the video card or the Kogi as the problem, which is quite easy to do by testing a known working monitor on the Matrox card.
Power
Is there a question somewhere in that statement? So what it takes a power supply, so does mine. Are you missing one, and need to know which one to get? You can buy replacement and generic power supplies off of ebay. The output should be 12VDC. Not sure how many amps you need from the power supply, but a 4 or 5amps should do fine.
Now you just need to make sure the plug is the correct size and voltage orientation. This sounds complicated but it is not. 99% of the time the tip of the plug is +12VDC, and the other part is ground. Some ebay auctions will even list which monitors there particular power supply will work with.
Kogi
Power supply for what exactly? The monitor plugs the wall outlet. Do you mean cable?
Problems After Power Outage
Sounds like the power outage damaged the video interface could be damaged. You might have had a spike that effected the red input of the monitor. You can try to order a video interface, or like I suggest to others, look for the same monitor but broken on ebay and swap out the interface board. Chances are this will fix your problem.
Good luck
Screen size
please refer owner manual which must have come along with your monitor at the time of purchase or call tech from where you have bought if it is under warranty
Monitor will not turn on
1 check plug & socket
2 check for cord
3 power supply in monitor to br checked
4 if it is ok check for horizontal section.
if you are not tech person get the help.
good luck
Monitor sounds?
It happened that to me last year. After 2 weeks of cracking sound symptoms, my monitor begun to blackout - no video signal but the indicator light is still available. I checked it inside using my tester, one of its transistor was burned-out. I tried to replace it and its working up to now.
Possible cause of this is probably overuse of monitor without proper ventilation causing electronic components to overheat. Try to bring it to an authorized TV repair man in your local area for proper diagnosis - Don't try to fix it yourself. He's the right expert to that.

Kogi Monitor with fuzzy text
Here is one small solution.
goto start: -> control panel -> display
click on the "appearance" tab.
then click on "effects"
check the box that says: Use the following method to smooth the edges of screen fonts (and make sure to choose "cleartype")
You should notice the fonts are a little sharper as well as having a backdrop.
