Kodak Video Cameras - Popular Questions, Answers, Tips & Manuals
My Kodak playfull will not turn off after I took photo, it will not do anything
First, I'd try holding the power button down for 30 seconds. That will force a shut down on a lot of electronic devices. Do you have the manual? It might show a combination of buttons to force a shutdown.
If that doesn't work, try removing the battery. That will force a shutdown. If the battery is not removable, then you'll just have to wait until the battery wears out, which could take days.
If you get it to shut down, then start it back up. If it's still frozen when you restart, then your problem is not something I can solve
I have a Kodak Playsport
Camera electronics are to fault .Might have to replace since repair is not cost effective unless the camera cost a bundle initially.
I have a problem putting pictures on my laptop (I have a Kodak Easyshare C195). It used to work fine. I would plug in the camera to laptop, photos would be on the laptop. Now I just get this message:
Hi there
There are basically three methods of looking at & copying photos from your camera to your PC.
1. Often, and Kodak certainly do, the camera manufacturer will bundle software with the camera, to ease the transfer of photos. Kodak Easyshare is certainly one of those. I would suggest that you use the CD that came with the camera to re-install the software exactly as you did when you first got the camera. If this does not give you back the transfer yo want you could try these methods.
2. Removing the memory card from your camera and inserting it into the card reader slot on your laptop (most modern laptops have a card reader). It does assume that the card you use in the camera is compatible with your card reader.
3. Connect your camera to the laptop via a USB port with the lead which will have been supplied with the camera.
In both cases the camera/card will show up in "My Computer" as a removable drive. Which letter it uses will depend upon the configuration of the computer.
Double click on this drive and navigate to the folder holding the photos (probably named "DCIM") which will be files in numerical order with the ".jpg" on the end of the file name.
These files can then be cut/paste or copy/paste to an appropriate folder on the computer. Most recent versions of Windows will preview these files when they are double-clicked, or in some cases create a slide show of all of them for you.
. I have found this
EasyShare Software Help
which may have information in it relevant to yourself, I didn't go all through it
I also eventually found this Extended User Guide for the C195 here:
http://resources.kodak.com/support/pdf/en/manuals/urg01134/C195_xUG_GLB_en.pdf
which may be of even more use, especially as this can be saved to your computer for future reference.
Hope this helps
How can i open the door on a kodak playsport?
DRIP not spray a tiny amount of silicone lubricant round the connector cover BUT YOU MUST COVER THE REST OF THE CAMERA FIRST AND MAKE SURE YOU DONT GET IT ANYWHERE ELSE. then prod it gently on the cover to get the lubricant to ingress the edges. It will open if you persevere.
Maximum memory capacity in Kodak EasyShare C140
The C140 works with SD and SDHC cards, up to 32GB in size. By swapping memory cards, you have essentially unlimited memory capacity.
You may use any brand SD/SDHC cards, though personally I would stick with the major brands.
Will not switch on!
When you buy a new product you need to charge it at list 12h befor you turn it on .

Memory card
Are you sure it's an SD card? The C530 works with SD cards 2GB or smaller. It will not work with higher-capacity SDHC cards.
Can't change language.
Press the MENU button, choose the Settings tab (three horizontal sliders), then select the sixth item from the bottom of the submenu.
PICTURES GOT DELETED
Don't panic! You can recover all deleted pictures from your camera with the help of a good photo recovery tool. Launch Remo Recover on your laptop, connect your camera and get back deleted photos.
My kodak c1450 wont load pictures to my computer
You don't need a driver.
The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.
Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo management program such as Picasa (
http://picasa.google.com ).
