This is likely a problem with Adobe Digital Edition authorization. The Digital Rights Management (DRM) feature once employed to protect publications from copyright violations is sometimes perplexing to deal with. The link below follows someone attempting to correct the situation. The advice there in seems to involves deleting authorization and reauthorizing procedures which you have to "get just right" or the process fails. People using Overdrive encounter this problem sometimes. I encourage you to work your way through the discussion to glean the details of what works and what does not. (Note you do have to have an Adobe ID in the course of this.)

this sounds like a pdf formatting problem...you need a multi-platform file... not every book is in the same format..but having a multi-level formating file can solve that problem as it reads all formats.Go to google and type kobo forum to see if adobe is recommended for your system. You may get a better perspective on answers for upgrades or updates on FREE software sites. GOD BLESS

sometimes modems can drop your machine ID..re-enter your modem code for your network..4G sometimes does not connect and the default is to ask to connect for a WIFI signal as a back up..if this happens at a public place...shut down your system and reboot...If 4G does not connect you are probably outside the 25 mile range of cell towers and need a new network ID to connect..Mc'donalds burger king they all have free WIFI..they provide the access for you..Hope this helps..If 4G is telling you repeatedly to connect to a network..check your 4G settings and reset to default..if this does not work go to settings under sync and reset..all others should be referred to kobo.com support GOD BLESS

are you sure you have not exceeded your memory capability? If it has it will bump a book every time you add a new one..it has to to load the new one each time ..may require a larger micro memory card...OR you could have dropped a driver from the adobe file and checking settings. you may have to do updates on it..Or you have a problem with syncing ..again that may be just an update to KOBO default settings.Hope these can help .Kobo.com support can help as a last resort ..GOD BLESS

most companies have a 3 time entry only on passwords.Try it again by entering your user ID and click forgot password..you will be prompted for your email address. They will send you a temporary code#..go back to the KOBO site and enter the code as your password...they will allow you at that point to enter a new password and then RE-ENTER the same password a second time for verification..If that does'nt work I suggest you call the support # as they may be keeping your serial # to your reader on file and each time you can't enter the proper password it touches base with your reader and can't make contact...They can walk you through it ..it takes only a few minutes don't worry..GOD BLESS

Try plugging it into your computer with the usb cable. This will start to charge it, and you can also use your computer's a/v program to scan it for malware.

It would be helpful to know what error message you are seeing, but I would hazard a guess that a soft reset might resolve the issue. Hold the power button down until the Kobo powers off and back on again, then release the button and try to order again.
