Something wrong with the control panel on my

Some refrigerators are designed to cycle through the settings. If you continue to press the down switch it may cause the numbers to reach the bottom set number then go back to the highest number and start the cycle over. If so then all you will need to do is continue to press it until it gets to the desired number. That is how LG and Kenmore work at least on the models I have worked with..

What does the code PO mean on my kitchenaid refrigerator?

If PO code shows repeatedly even if there is no power outage, it is because the control board itself is restarting itself continuously. Something is causing the board to reboot, which could be the board itself or something connected to the board. In my case, it was the freezer evaporator fan. You can test a LOT of things with NO disassembly and NO tools by getting the tech sheet for your model and putting your refrigerator in diagnostic mode. When I used diagnostic mode to run the freezer evap fan, the whole system restarted itself again, so I knew to change the fan out. I posted this information on Appliance Blog forum, which is the first Google hit that recommends unconditionally to buy a new control board to resolve the PO code, and Jake the shady admin on that site DELETED my comment and my account and then LOCKED the thread because he'd rather mislead people into buying an expensive, non-refundable part rather than lose any face. Complete scumbag. Hopefully people dig a little further and find this comment before getting ripped off and this helps them.

KitchenAid refrigerator model KTRS22ELBL01 fan keeps running nonstop

A common reason a condenser fan is continually running within a refrigerator is the thermostat. ... A basic test is to set the thermostat on the warmest setting; if the cooling unit continues to run, even when it's being told to keep the fridge warmer, you have a broken thermostat. https://homeguides.sfgate.com/refrigerator-condenser-fan-always-running-37696.html

Ice maker makes too much ice

In my Kitchen Aid bottom freezer there is a metal arm(?) that I lift up to stop the ice maker from making ice. When I start running low on ice, I push the metal arm(?) back down for it to make ice again. Hope this is the solution for your Kitchen Aid too.

Where is the eject button for a kitchenaid superba water filter?

I went through this same thing! You probably can't find an eject button because there isn't one on the model that you have. It probably isn't turning because it's just stuck and you have to just have confidence that you're not breaking it and force it to the left - all of a sudden, it will "pop" and turn easily.

Here is a great link to show you the different types of Kitchen Aid refrigerator filters - which kind has an eject button and which doesn't:

http://kitchenaid.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/149

I also found a great (and short!) video from Kitchen Aid that really helped me see how to do it. Try this one - I thought it was the best:

http://www.kitchenaid.com/content.jsp?sectionId=852

Finally knowing there wasn't an "eject" button saved me many hours of looking, and the tip about using the handles of the plyers worked great.

It is really discouraging to think you can't just screw out a water filter, but it isn't you. The directions are misleading - they don't match what you're seeing, and it doesn't twist out easily - it has to be forced....and THEN it twists out easily.

Hope this helps. It worked for me when I'd completely given up.

Best of luck!

Eileen

I need exact measurements on a KitchenAid superba refrigerator model no. KSCS25FKSS02

Kitchenaid has a dimensions guide for the KSC25FKSS refrigerators on their support site: https://www.kitchenaid.com/service-and-support/manuals.html . The depth depends on the handle style; these models are 35 1/2" W X 27" or 27 1/2" D X 71 7/8" H. The link to the document is https://www.kitchenaid.com/content/dam/global/documents/200312/dimension-guide-2221514-D-KA.pdf . I hope this helps. Cindy Wells

Sabbath Setting

I just bought the SamsungRF267AB bottom freezer refrigerator.  Amoung the features that must be disabled for shabbos are the lights, motor cuttoff and inside panel indicators.  On most refrigerators there is a swich that you can tape in the depressed mode that will trick the unit into thinking the door is still closed.  With this unit it's magnetic.  you need to place a magnet on the top of the door frame to make the refigerator think the door is still closed.  I hope this helps.

How to defrost kitchenaid refrigerator

With an ice build up this much, the auto defrost wont have any chance of working so you will have to do a manual defrost. Just turn off the power and wait a few hours for the thing to fully defrost. You can help things along by using a hair dryer, but avoid sharp objects and scrapers as you may damage something. You will have to store the things from the refrigerator in someone else's fridge or in foam boxes while you do this to avoid damage to the food. When you open the fridge door in the future to get things in or out, try to not leave it open for more than a few seconds at a time as this will help avoid it doing this again. Each time you open the door, you let moist warm air go inside and this contributes to the ice build up.

Icemaker is not producing ice

There is a switch that turns it on or off. There may be a number of things wrong with it. Try tinkering with the switch. It should be a metal rod that sticks out.

3 beeps

We had the same problem. Our fridge was beeping and the lights would not come on. To stop the beeping and turn the lights back on we had to press the OVER TEMPERATURE RESET button. As soon as we did this, the lights came back on and beeping stopped. Hope this helps.
