My kitchenaid toaster oven kco253 function control knob will not turn. The other knobs do, but no power light comes on

It sounds like there may be an issue with the function control knob on your KitchenAid toaster oven. If the knob will not turn and no power light comes on, it could indicate a problem with the knob itself, or a more serious issue with the oven's internal electrical components. Here are a few things you can try to troubleshoot the issue:
  1. Check the knob for any physical damage or debris that may be preventing it from turning. Clean the knob and the surrounding area if necessary.
  2. Check the electrical connections for the knob. Make sure that the connections are securely in place and that there is no damage or corrosion.
  3. Check the power outlet. Make sure that the outlet is working properly and that there is no issue with the circuit breaker or fuse.
  4. If the above steps don't solve the problem, it could indicate a more serious issue with the oven's internal electrical components. It's recommended to contact the KitchenAid customer service or a professional technician for further assistance.
It's also important to check the oven's warranty status and the manufacturer's instructions to ensure that the repair or replacement will not void the warranty. Keep in mind that troubleshooting and repairing electrical appliances can be dangerous if you are not familiar with the proper procedures. If you are not comfortable with performing the troubleshooting yourself, it's best to contact a professional technician for assistance.

Older Kitchenaid toaster oven blinking blue light won't stop.

It sounds like your KitchenAid toaster oven may be experiencing a malfunction. The blinking blue light could indicate an error code or issue with the oven's control panel. Without more information about the specific model and the exact behavior of the blinking blue light, it is difficult to provide a specific solution. However, you may try unplugging the oven for a few minutes and then plugging it back in to see if that resolves the issue. If the problem persists, it would be best to contact KitchenAid customer service for further assistance or consult the oven's user manual for troubleshooting tips.

Most all dishwashers are controlled by the wall switch close to the sink. This switch is often shut off accidentally because it looks like a light switch. Be sure this switch stays on.

The dishwasher will turn on in 2 hours if door is closed. This dishwasher is advanced. To understand all operations you should read the user guide or manual.

I have a Kitchenaid front load washer KHWS02RMT1. 1 How do I find out what the different codes mean?

The codes are not always available unless someone has posted them. Sometimes the manual will show error codes and leave a brief description of the problem but these codes are primary for service technician. Some manufacturers do not list codes for the consumers as they would rather have a technician fix it for you.

What does Code 5ud for front load Kitchenaid washer mean?

This error code indicates excessive detergent suds occurred during the cycle. This could be caused by using too much detergent or not using High Efficiency (HE) detergent. The washer will not be able to spin out water with the excess suds. When "Sud" or "Sd" is displayed, the washer automatically extends the rinse time to remove the excess suds. During this time, the washer pauses the tumbling and adds water for additional rinsing. This pause allows the bubbles in the suds to break. This pause and rinsing are necessary and may occur several times to eliminate the suds. This could significantly lengthen the time for your washer to complete the cycle. If the problem continues, and the correct amount and correct type of detergent is being used, we suggest running a "Clean Washer" cycle to remove residual detergent that might have built up in the washer. Follow the instructions in your Owner's Manual for cleaning

I have a small pin hole in the bottom of my kitchenaid dish washer which is stainless.. Can the bottom pan be replaced or does the hole need to be patched?

If the hole is small you can seal it with epoxy putty. Clean and abrade the area and after mixing the putty make sure it is pushed well into the hole and if possible smoothed over on the underside. Two types that will work.

Coffee pot has a salty, chemical smell.

Isopropol Alcohol is the wrong product for that issue. It is a pure alcohol solvent. I have two ideas, and the smell is probably from having water sitting in it an eventually drying out and fusing to limescale. I descale my machine every 6 months. I use CLR. https://www.google.com/search?q=kitchenaid+coffee+machine+descale CLR https://www.google.com/search?q=clr+coffee+maker The other product you might try is 5% Hydrogen Peroxide which is a non toxic, organic bleach. https://www.google.com/search?q=hydrogen+peroxide+to+clean+coffee+maker ..

Hi, Kitchenaid kbfc42fts interior controls and lights blinking no alarms

If the interior controls and lights in your KitchenAid KBFC42FTS refrigerator are blinking but there are no alarms or error codes displayed, it may indicate a problem with the refrigerator's control board or power supply. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:
  1. Power cycle the refrigerator by unplugging it from the electrical outlet or turning off the circuit breaker that supplies power to it. Wait for a few minutes and then plug it back in or turn on the circuit breaker.
  2. Check the refrigerator's power supply by ensuring that the electrical outlet is working properly and that the power cord is securely plugged in.
  3. Check the control board for any signs of damage or corrosion. The control board is usually located on the back of the refrigerator, behind a panel. If you see any damage or corrosion, you may need to replace the control board.
  4. Check the wiring connections between the control board and other components such as the lights, fans, and sensors. Loose or damaged wiring can cause communication issues and blinking lights.
If none of these steps resolves the issue, it is recommended that you contact a professional appliance repair service for further assistance. They will have the necessary tools and expertise to diagnose and repair the problem.
